They don't have batteries in the water clocks, they can't read and they charge what they understand, they've been like this for months. Nobody does anything, because they don't change the technology, well it's easy.the confusion is good for someone and of course it's not for the residents.

We had a water leak in front of our house thirteen months ago. Within days of them repairing the leak on the city side, our service line from the basement to the street was leaking and we were responsible for the repair (which was no doubt a result of their attempt to fix the leak in the street).
Now, here we are just over a year later and we noticed a leak in front of our house again. Called to report it and the service representative seemed very unconcerned (“There’s leaks all over the city. ”). Eight days later, we have a small river flowing down the middle of the street in front of several houses. People keep stopping us and talking about the possibility of a sinkhole. Given how much water is visible in the street, I can’t imagine what’s been accumulating under the road throughout the last week.

The website is an abomination. You don't have to spend much to make it easy to navigate.

This company has awful communication and are awful with their customer service. The automotive message is simply a waste of time and I suggest they have their customer service representatives do their job rather than have people waiting 15 minutes just to talk to a human being to pay a bill!

I put a ticket into 311 because our house has low water pressure - I got a call within 4 hours from a *wonderful* lady named Kenyada.

She was easily one of the nicest service representatives I've ever spoken with on the phone - and very knowledgeable too.

I've read the other reviews here - and they're mostly *very* poor.
I will update this review based on what happens when the service tech comes out - but for now, 5 stars based on my call with Kenyada!

UPDATE:

After waiting for a month, two workers from the city came out - Troy and Jim.

It seems like most of the negative reviews come from waiting. I get it, but they just seemed to be really understsffed - because Troy and Jim were fantastic.

They were incredibly professional and curteous.

They not only fixed the issue quickly, but they also did numerous extra checks to confim the source of the issue and that there were no other problems.

Thank you Troy and Jim!

Stop trying to extort unrealistic fines out of people for things as petty as receptacle placement, and work on your ability to provide an exceptional public service. Your overwhelming average of 1 star reviews is a good place to start looking on how you could improve your department.

If you want to get paid and get a pension to do absolutely nothing. They are the best to work for.

They have left a water main break in my neighborhood for three days now and said it won’t be fixed for another three days. They “checked” my water pressure and said it was fine when clearly it’s not because I tested with my own water gauge and am reading 20 PSI or lower. They’re liars and couldn’t care less about their customers.
