CityBreaks Barbershop West 25th reviews
13Professional shop with premium services. Steve Kolis (Safebet Cuts) is one of the best around.
I've never felt more comfortable than I did in Taylor's chair. She was very professional and respectful. I loved my hair cut! I felt comfortable and definitely found my forever barber! Highly would recommend this barbershop and Taylor especially.
Great.love this place Steve my barber always does a great job recommend stopping in and getting a cut.well trained and knowledgeable.all the barbers are and cool laid back environment.
Tone is AMAZING. He seen the look I wanted and, without a doubt, he did his thang. I love it. I am grateful for such a nice environment as well. The other barber's there were very manageable and polite. They even had oldies playing in the background.
Rocco does an amazing job! Clean fades, Great cuts! Atmosphere is awesome! Good music. Keep up the good work!
Steve does a geat job listening to exactly what my hubby wants each time he gets it a little different and Steve is up for the challenge everytime. The place is also really nicely finished inside. Definitely will continue going here and reccomend it for all.
I walked in to get a haircut and waited for 10mins for a barber 2 get done. And then noticed he more worried about after things.so i walked out and they don't care 2 stop me for waking out and went somewhere else! Not a good way to treat your customers.
2nd time with this barber. First experience was great. Had an appointment today at 1: 30pm inwhich my barber didn't show up at all, was there until about 2: 10pm after getting there at 1: 25pm. Called and messaged, but no answer.
Later around 7pm, I got a message from my ex-barber stating that he wanted to apologize, followed by stating he was disappointed in me as a client, because I didn't give him "the benefit of the doubt. " Went on to state how I canceled my appointment at 1: 30pm yesterday, an appointment where around 11: 30am I let him know things weren't going well at the BMV and I may not be able to make it. At 12: 30pm ended up with issues involving Mayfield Heights and Lyndhurst court for unpaid tickets in Mayfield.
Could not drive back because of a block on my license so I had to Uber to the court, pay almost $700 in fines that they couldn't substantiate or say what the fines were from except they were from a vehicle I've never owned or cosigned for, but said I could either fight it in court, but I can't drive in the meantime, or I had to pay it to be able to drive. So I paid the bs fines, told them I'd file the grievance with the court later to get my money back, and then I let my barber know I was clear for now. He called later asking if I was good, which I gave him the story of what happened at the court and I let him know I could stop back that same day if he had any time available. He said he was booked for the rest of the day so we made plans for the next day (today) at 1: 30pm.
So hours later after I posted my 1 star review of the shop is when I finally got a response, so I'm assuming the shop owner noticed it and likely asked what was going on which prompted my barber to message me on Facebook. I didn't read it and just let him know that a call or text would have been good, as I did that for him instead of just not showing up at all. As I sat in the hot tub I decided to read the message and seen he was disappointed in me as a client and something about being paid by Google to do reviews. (Google if at any time you want to pay me for reviews I do, you know all my contact info and where to send the checks to!)
Not sure how he's "disappointed in me" as a client as I gave him 2 hours notice that I wouldn't be able to make it, whereas he gave me zero notice and some story about how he overslept plus had personal things going on or to do. He may be upset about the review, but a negative experience is negative and positive is positive I'm any customer service environment so not sure what he expected. Doesn't take long to send a quick text or call to explain. The ironic part is where he claimed I wasted his time and money yesterday, yet he lives within walking distance of the shop, whereas I live 20-25 minutes away and wasted 40 minutes of my time waiting for him, and another 20-25 minutes back home.
Side note, none of the other barbers there offered to see what was taking him so long, just said that "he'll be here shortly. " Was fine as the first time I got a haircut from him, he was 10-15 minutes late and I still paid a $10 tip on top of the $40 cut.
Others may enjoy the shop and the other barbers, but I can't recommend Ricardo based on timeliness, communication, or professionalism.
I love the fact the barber shops are making a comeback! Service was great and the attention to detail was awesome for my beardtrim. Next time I need a haircut I'm coming here instead of great clips to get both done at once!
Tony is my Grandkids baber he is real good with them dose an excellent job. Professionally He is a person that I will recomen for male haircuts.
Alysha is great and is easy to schedule with. After my second trip in I think the clean environment and great haircut has me sold go keep coming back.
Definitely quiet, clean, and professional environment with talented, skilled barbers. FACTS!
Alysha gave my 18 month old his first haircut today and I am BEYOND pleased. She was patient and so nice to my baby. And his hair looks great! The shop was clean and everyone was friendly and professional.
