Claremar Twin Lakes Camping Resort, New London OH

2023 was our first year as seasonals and we love it here. The Campground is so beautiful and clean. The staff is always friendly and working hard. The area is so peaceful with breathtaking sunsets and a beautiful Lake. They offer many amenities and there's always lots of fun activities planned for all ages to enjoy. The only negative comment would be the maintenance area is a bit of an eyesore and it's on one of the main roads used to get it, so it's hard to avoid. Otherwise, the place is amazing.

Should give seasonal, pay in full better discounts. More bands on weekends.

We reserved and paid for a seasonal site and almost immediately regretted it. The partying going on in my section was not at all the atmosphere that I wanted my family to be near. I am sure there are other parts of the campground that are less active as far as partying until late in the night. I am not referring to the quiet time I am saying until 2 am. It just wasn't the place for us. The campground itself is well maintained but also very crowded. I wanted a quieter place to rest and relax. It just wasn't the place for us. Not every campground suits the needs of every type of camper.

I visiting the park for three nights to see a family member who permanently camps there and it was a nice experience. The weekend sites along the lake are very nice. Facilities seemed well cared for (although I didn’t really use them) and everyone seemed very friendly. I would definitely come back and camp again! I had a special request and they accommodated without hesitations. Very nice large campground.

Always a great place to go to. Been going there forever. Lake spots are nice. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Had a great time! Laid back campground with fun activities for the whole family! Can't wait to come back in the summer!

Cabin was very clean. Staff very friendly.
A midweek visit brought much peace and quiet.

Stayed in cabin and it was great nice location, roomy, clean. Wish they had more bathrooms through the place. Hard to find one in middle of night without having a camper. Also there is zero cell service or WiFi. Phone was in sos mode almost entire time. Good and bad thing. Place is very clean and quiet. No bugs at all didn’t get one mosquito bite and was 50 feet from the water.

This is a beautiful campground. We visited for the first time in September, 2023. Lots of green space, activities, and very peaceful. Within an hour of my house - used our travel trailer and brought our dogs.

Great place, but could use some more bathroom and shower houses throughout the grounds instead of Porta potty‘s but will stay again some time!

Nice campground with clean bathhouse. The lake is nice and refreshing to swim or fish in. I enjoyed waking up and having a relaxing, quiet morning overlooking the lake. This campground is definitely a party campground, so expect noise and lots of golf carts racing around from 7 to 11. It got so bad with the dust being kicked up Saturday night I felt like I couldn't breathe. Other than that, it was a nice time!

We had the best time there. I gave the rooms four stars as we rented a cabin and the beds were a little uncomfortable. I am hoping to stay for a full week next year. The golf cart was a major plus. Everyone was so friendly. The aquaglide was great, the kiddos loved it. The bathrooms seemed to be brand new and were spotless. The kids loved doing the tie-dye. We had a great time and highly recommend. We will definitely be back.

This place could be awesome with just a bit of work. The sites are not as level as we like. Wish the pool had been open but it was closed. Other than that, we loved it here.

This place is an adult daycare center Mgmt does everything on th cheep and just wants staff to look like they are doing things. Would never work there again or bring my rig there.

Claremar Twin Lakes is an AMAZING place to visit! Family-friendly atmosphere and everyone is super nice. Fun activities and all the accommodations we needed. Love it. Going back every year from now on!

We haven't been to too many campgrounds but of what we have been to this is our favorite. We had the pleasure of camping right on the lake with such a beautiful view. It was so relaxing being able to fish right from our site whenever we wanted to. Never had to lug all the accessories around to do so. We were very close to the Aquaglide which was convenient for walking but far enough away that we didn't hear everyone talking. I'm a stickler about being at a campground where foul language is not being thrown around. I may have only heard a group of kids swearing maybe once or twice the 2 nights we were there. The people around us were very polite and no one was excessively drunk like we have seen at other campgrounds. The other thing we enjoyed ALOT was that we could use our own kayaks in the lake. Many other places will only allow you to kayak if you rent from them. I wasn't really disappointed about the pool not being open because it's about the size of our bathtub. The only complaint or disappointment was that the main reason we booked the reservation was because of the Aquaglide. We arrived on Thursday afternoon and the lifeguard called in sick. I know that things happen, however, there needs to be a backup plan. The owner or someone higher up needs to be trained in lifeguarding as well. Campers are paying for services that are not being provided. THANKFULLY, the lifeguard showed up to work on Friday and our children really enjoyed that experience. I would have given our stay 5/5 if it had not been for the Aquaglide being closed the first night.

We had a great weekend, The Staff was great, Best campground ever. Thanks people great job.
