Ophthalmologist Clarkson Eyecare reviews
18I hadn't been to the eye doctor for 15 years before I saw Dr. Koerner in an emergency situation. He is such a great doctor with such a gentle manner that now I go every year for a checkup with no fear or hesitation. Easy to get in and out of the office, very friendly staff. They make it a stress-free experience. Highly recommend!
Always a great experience. I’ve been going to this eye doctor before the name change. Would recommend it to anyone. They make you feel welcomed and explain everything so you can understand.
Dr. Koerner is very thorough and compassionate. He helped me get the eye drops I needed eventhough I had no insurance. That was a great blessing! His staff is super nice also!
I would highly recommend them to my friends and family all the staff where really friendly I was in and out fast
I had a thorough examination and they took steps to insure that my sight was as near perfect as can be.
We go to the Town St.location in downtown Columbus and we always feel that we are taken care in the best possible way. Dr. Dickson is always open to questions and concerns and addresses them clearly and concisely and has the patience to make sure that you understand any concerns that you have. The staff is always warm and welcoming and makes you feel as if you are the most important patient they have! I wish I could give them more stars then 5 because they deserve every one of them!
Everyone was so friendly and nice.we were also late for my son's appointment and they got him in anyways. They explained everything thoroughly and was upfront on all the prices.they are our eye care people for life!
Outstanding place, wouldn’t trust anyone but Dr Koerner with my eyes. Try him and I guarantee you won’t be disappointed!
Staff is great but we live North of 270 and the reason we travel downtown is Dr Koerner. I'd drive to Chillicothe for him, he's simply the best!
Thank you for your continued service, for your kindness and for making me feel like a valued customer. Thank you for your honesty in making sure I understand all the procedures and costs. Thank you for allowing me to be a customer/patient for over 15+ years. I am grateful for Dr. Koerner (forgive spelling) and him being consistent. Blessings
The staff is very professional and caring. My daughter is thrilled to return at Clarkson care next time.
Very friendly and professional staff. Dr. Dixon is wonderful. I would recommend everyone see him for eye care.
I felt safe in the office environment. Staff is nice and personable. They were patient and helpful with my choosing of new frames. My doctor is a constant that I can depend on in giving me accurate health information concerning my eyes.
I have had nothing but excellent service and superior eye care. I strongly urge anyone having problems with their eyes to make an appointment with Clarkson Eyecare.
The staff is always kind and professional. I have been with Dr. Dickson for almost 35 years. That is saying something!
Dr. Dickson is thorough and kind. The person that helped me select frames was patient and full of great ideas for which glasses to pick. Actually made selecting the glasses pleasant. I was dreading taking the time to pick new glasses and it didn't take long and now I have glasses that look great.
We became patients at Professional Eye Care when they first opened on the corner of Parsons and Bryden. We are a family of six (one child is special needs and has medical eye issues) they were always GREAT with my entire family. Unfortunately are no longer able to be patients at this practice due to a billing issue. My adult daughter who was covered by my insurance and her father's insurance (she should not have had a balance) had a balance and Terri insisted that I owed the balance instead of my.adult daughter paying her own balance just because she is covered by my insurance. I verified with the Department of Insurance and I in fact am not responsible for the bill. I asked numerous times for them to send the bill to her address and Terri again demanded that I pay it and advised me that she pays her adult child's bills. Until that point, I never had one complaint about anyone in the office, I then received a letter in the mail stating we could no longer be seen. This is five years ago and unfortunately, I have still not found an eye doctor that can get my prescription correct.
The bill was minimal, $40 I believe but it was the principle. This is what saddened me because all six of us wear glasses and would spend thousands yearly. I just cannot believe they would stand behind her just because she wanted to be in control.
Dr. Kourner is the kindest and most professional eye doctor that ever existed, he’s just awesome.
I enjoyed going to this OD as I believe he is very professional and skilled at what he does, but unfortunately I can not say the same about the billing staff here. During my most recent exam I made it clear that I would like to be fitted for contact lenses along with hardware, and was assured that I would only need to pay a portion of the costs for my glasses as my contact lenses would be covered by insurance. This was incorrect, and after placing the order, the billing staff later found out that my insurance would only pay for either contacts or glasses (four long days later). Had I been advised of this initially, I would've simply ordered contact lenses and would have used my old glasses. I work in the industry and it is business standard to thoroughly verify patient benefits prior to rendering treatment to avoid issues like this, however, for whatever reason this did not happen at Professional Eye Care Associates. I expressed my dissatisfaction to a staff member named Kimberly and asked what options were, and was told very unempathetically that there was nothing that could be done. There wasn't even an apology given for the miscommunication. Unfortunately due to this, I had to part ways with this office and would not recommend new patients visiting this place unless you like surprise bills and poor customer service.
