I have been a patient at Rinkov/Clarkson Eyecare for 12 years and have never received bad service. Their staff is always personable and makes you feel at ease while getting your eyes examined. Dr. Kowaleski is incredible and explains everything to you in depth and answers all of your questions. I would recommend this office to anyone!

Happy that I made the decision to come, for my daughter and I! Thank you for being an inviting atmosphere and for accepting my insurance, though rare

I really enjoy the fact that when I call to schedule my appointment they got me in with them a matter of 48 hours and the team is great.

Great staff and the facility is very clean and smells great! I recommended them to a woman who had just moved here from Dayton Ohio. Check them out. You won't be disappointed

I went there two years ago for an eye exam and they were great. Doctor was amazing. Everyone was super nice. Today I called to make an appointment and they told me they weren't seeing people with my insurance until February and to call back to make another appointment. This feels like discrimination and I'm terribly disappointed that they treated a client/patient this way. Preferential treatment is classist and prejudice which goes against the law. If you're not gonna take a certain insurance, just say you don't. Don't treat the patient like they're second class citizens. I'm appalled that this is in MY neighborhood. I won't be returning and I'll be sure to tell my friends and family. We shouldn't stand for this kind of behavior in The Health Field. Period.

I chose to use "first available doctor" today and got Dr. Chontos. My wait was short (approximately 5 minutes), Danielle my "tech" (unsure of the terminology for the person who does some of the pre-exam stuff) was courteous and took my blood pressure and asked some general questions about my vision since my last exam and prescriptions I take.

The doctor was warm and personal and did a great job explaining what he was doing with my prescription (minor change) and the status of my eyes (I opted to have the retina pictures done which enables the doc to get views of my macula, optic nerve and some outer part of the eyeball which I forgot the name of). The doctor showed me the pictures and explained what we were looking at and what would indicate healthy components.

I get contacts so I can't share from my own experience regarding frame choice but my wife does and she has been very happy with the selection.

An excellent experience. Glad they are my provider.
