Clarkson Eyecare, Northfield OH

Been going to this Eyecare facility, since it was Buckeye eyecare. The Staff is GREAT. Dr. Natalee Rackus is very thorough and a great addition to the staff.

Excellent with eye exam and the entire visit. Only thing that I wish if they had option for safety glasses and I don’t have to go to their other facility to grab them.

Dr. Gonzalez and their team are caring, compassionate, kind competent and efficient. I have been a patient for decades and I am grateful for your excellent care. Thank you!

Have been going to Clarkson Eyecare for a few years now. They are top notch from communications to staffing, professionalism, and of course the awesome Ohio State Buckeye Decor!
They have a nice selection of new glasses and the patient staff to help to make sure you get the right pair.
I highly recommend them if you are in need of eyecare and or glasses!

I have been a patient at this facility for a very long time. I have had great experience with both the retired Dr. Woodruff, my current eye doctor, Dr. Gonzalez and previous staff members who were always kind, courteous and willing to assist. My review comes based on my experience on August 28th when I called with an urgent matter and the way my telephone call was handled. The person answering the telephone was rude, unprofessional and offered little assistance at all. I left the conversation very frustrated. Customer service is becoming a lost art but one always hope that when they are paying professionals for a service that the office support staff would be professional as well.

Very friendly staff! First time I met Dr. R. She was great. Very thorough exam and she told me exactly what she was doing and what we were looking at when she showed me images of my eyes. Lots of frames to choose from and they even had a sale going on so I was able to get two pair of glasses for less than the price of one!

An amazing office! My boyfriend works in a metal shop and got a tiny piece of metal in his eye that would not come out with eye flushing, drops, etc. I was able to get him in the same day, very quickly! They did an exam and got it out quickly as well! They were absolutely amazing! I was expecting to spend all day trying to get him in somewhere or at the ER but ended up getting it resolved in less then 2 hours! Amazing! I'd reccomend this office 100 times over! The staff was so nice and knowledgeable, the doctor was amazing and gentle on account she had to scrap metal from his eye, and it was just a pleasant, stress free experience for him & me, when I fully expected it to be a tedious and stressful process! Thank you Dr. Natalee Rackus & staff, you all rock!

My visit to Clarkson Eyecare was a positive experience. Dr. Kathy Gonzalez is very personable and knowledgeable. Kayla is outstanding when it comes to frame selection, adjustment, and insurance coverage. Highly recommended!

This was my first visit with Dr. Rackus at Clarkson Eyecare. I have never had such a great informative experience at a medical appointment. Everyone was kind and respectful from beginning to end. Dr. Rackus showed me large images of the inside of my eyes and explained everything. Give them a call soon.

Very friendly staff. Great at explaining what is going on with your eyesight, especially after cataract surgery.

I had a very good experience. But what gave it five stars. Was Tim! He works in the glasses section from the moment I walked in the door. He smiled at me and welcomed me. I had a nice conversation before I was taken in the back. I saw Dr. Kathy Gonzalez. She was very nice cordial a little serious definitely laid-back. She was specific and to the point. Answered questions that I had. I’ve been going to this particular office for a while now, and I will continue to do so in the future. The ease of making an appointment getting my yearly exam completed and purchasing a pair of glasses was made very simple. Tim is excellent. He’s very hospitable. He had humor and made the ease my purchasing my glasses, and what my interests were, he was not pushy. He basically let you tell him what you needed and he showed you what they had available. Thank you so much Tim you made my experience a very pleasant one!

I advise to schedule ahead so that wait time isn’t so long and have your proper documents (ID, insurance, etc.)

Dr. Rackus was exceptional, thorough, and explained everything about current and future possible changes to my eyesight. Couldn’t ask for a better experience, especially when dealing with eye health.

The most comprehensive eye exam I have ever had! Their standard eye exam includes many tests that other places I have been only add on for additional expense. The doctor's are amazing and the staff is top notch. Great selection of eyewear is also available right there so that you can look around if you have to wait a few minutes, which doesn't happen often.

The staff was very thorough and showed a great level of care for my vision! Dr. Rakus was awesome and was very professional during my eye exam! Thank you!
