The system was down must of the day. So I never got my Rx and was told two different cost when it came to Purchasing my contacts. Also every time my purchase contacts, I have to pay an extra charge for a fitting. Even though I never been fitted for contacts. I have to pay for this everytime I purchased contacts from this place.

It’s a small little office but a big impact. Went in for my 1st appointment and was happy to been treated with friendly professionals and caring people.

My wife had a problem with her left eye for 30 years. She was seen by over half a dozen doctors without any positive results. Dr Sugawara successfully diagnosed the problem quickly and referred her for correction. So obviously I have a new dentist. I am glad I made the switch. Pleased with all aspects of my visit. Including just simple things like office personnel walking out to talk with you instead of calling you up to the desk.

Dr had terrible ‘bed side manner’. I asked him multiple questions and he could not seem to look away from his computer monitor to engage me. I was having a few minor issues with my eyes that I wanted is feedback on and he Seemed totally disinterested in anything but inputting data on his computer screen and conducting the eye test. Frankly in over 60 years worse experience I’ve ever had with any kind of doctor. Lady’s out front were super nice and helpful but that’s where it ended.

I have found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The eye exam was thorough, and I have never felt pressured to purchase glasses there.

Dr. Sugawara explained the process of the exams very well. Teena who helped me pick out glasses was a big help. I will definitely recommend Clarkson Eyecare to my friends.

Good experience. Everything was well explained. I was told allow two weeks for my new glasses and they were ready in 4 days. Probably not the norm but I was happy.

Loved everyone at this eye care facility. So friendly and professional. The Dr.was very professional. I will go back. I will continue to go here. And will refer people to this establishment in Harrison, Ohio.

Dr.was unfriendly and only spoke when asking questions. Unable to correctly fill a simple bifocal, which I've had filled in the past, with no issues. Was asked to wear glasses awhile to see if I adjusted. Bifocal line was ultimately not positioned correctly. Tech recommended I see the Dr.again.so 4th time into facility and I waited 20 min.after appt.time lapsed, for an early am appt no less. Decided to for-go appt and just return glasses and was made to wait another 15 minutes before I was refunded purchase. The tech checking me out stated I "was lucky" Clarkson did refunds and to "not let it ruin my day". Unbelievable. Reception was their only redeeming quality.

Dr. Sugawara is very knowledgeable and thorough. Rick Lemmel went above and beyond by helping me to pick the right frames and lense coatings. He also was very accurate and thorough in fitting the frames! The entire staff were all very considerate of my right eye blindness. Thank you. Well worth the 4 mile walk in 95 degree temperature.
