Helpful and professional staff and doctor, and following guidelines for safety which I appreciated!

The eye exam itself was fine, no issues. Nothing special, just routine. The disappointment came when I wanted to get my prescription and check out. It’s all about sells at the end. Buy this and get $100 off or buy that and you get a coupon. They pushed even when I told them no and explained exactly what I wanted. Same experience for my husband. I told him to take an extra hour than expected because they won’t let you leave until they’ve gone over every sells pitch with you.

Everyone here is very friendly and more than willing to help in any way they can. Dr. Simmons is awesome. Very thorough exam and provided good insight and information on his diagnosis. Recommend to everyone.

My family and I have been patients at Ckarkson Eyecare for three years. Always great customer care. The entire staff is very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Simmons is great! He explains every step along the way.

Dr. Simmons was great. Very thorough in his examination. The techs and front office staff were polite and friendly. I plan to continue to use this office for my vision needs.

Dr. Simmons is the best medical professional I have ever seen. He took his time to try to get me some help with stuff that other doctors have ignored for years. I am happy I don’t need glasses but will definitely always go to Dr. Simmons for my eye exams because he is great!

My visit was during the "reopening with guidelines" time of COVID-19 and the details were handled smoothly by friendly and efficient staff throughout my appointment. Very pleased.

They were awesome. The staff and Dr.took out extra time to make sure my trial contacts were comfortable before I left. They did not rush me out at all as I was not comfortable with the first pair. They cared that I had what I needed before I order the supply.

I felt welcome as soon as I entered. The staff was all very courteous. I was impressed by level of care and knowledge given by the doctor and will definitely be referring Clarkson Eyecare to everyone I know.

I have had corrective lenses for quite a while and I have tried out many doctors and optometrist places on for size. Clarkson is the best by far. It is incredibly easy to make an appointment, even if you need seen right away or last minute. The staff at the front desk are very kind and understanding. They listen to your needs and then meet those needs without trying to sell you anything extra or anything you didn't ask for. They are personable and knowledgeable. Similarly, the doctor I saw was the same way. She was excellent, having listened when I spoke "small talk" she was able to make thoughtful considerations based on my individual needs.

My husband had an eye exam and purchased glasses at another dealer. He could not see with the new glasses. He ultimately returned to Thoma & Sutton to recheck his prescription which was apparently wrong since it was changed. No vision problems with new lenses. They not only charged him for the reexamination, but initially double charged his credit card. After several calls this was corrected. However, now they want another $26 since insurance did not pay.

Everyone at Thoma & Sutton went above and beyond to make sure I got the correct prescription, the best glasses for my needs, and the most knowledge about my eyes and how to treat my vision.
I have never felt so empowered and informed about the decision making process for both my glasses and contacts. I had mentioned I felt like I was lying every time I went to the eye doctor because I never got glasses or contacts that actually corrected my vision completely. So Dr. Huff ensured that I was consistent while determining my prescription, thereby resulting in the clearest and best vision I have ever had! Additionally, she took the time to go over with me the troubles I had with my previous contacts and why I may be having those problems. She was informative and satisfied all of my curiosities about "why" and "how, " and I felt better knowing that while making her recommendations she took into account all of my concerns.
Destiny. She was amazing! She was knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. Again, she told me things about choosing a pair of glasses that in my almost 20 years of wearing glasses was *never* told by any previous opticians. She was sweet, honest, and always made me feel confident in which frames I was choosing. From knowing what numbers mean what to why the amount of lens effects your overall vision, I could not have asked for a better person to work with.
All of the other women there that I spoke to and worked with were also wonderful. (My apologies for not remembering specific names) The explanations they gave and the time they spent with me was also very much appreciated.
Overall, if you decide on Thoma & Sutton on Far Hills, you will get stellar service and are guaranteed to get the best glasses or contacts for you.
