Great Company, always standing behind the employees, very good support system for the drivers, there is always someone there to help.

Starting my 7th year here. 5 as a company driver and 2 as an Owner Operator. I’ve had some great load coordinators over the years only to see them all go.

The Owner Jim Subler is world class.

Only concerning point comes at the end of the year when Jim retires.

Best job I've ever had. Great staff in all departments.
I left Classic Carriers for health issues, and hated to leave. I currently work local but miss the road real bad. Just as soon as I can I will only consider 1 company to drive otr for, and that is Classic Carriers. In the 20 plus years of driving professionally I never had a better job. I've never been treated better by anybody I ever worked for. I wish and hope for the very best for everyone there.

I spoke with recruiting today. I asked if new drivers are given new mattresses for their truck, I was told no but they "deep clean" them. That is disgusting. These companies are so frugal. Cut costs somewhere else, don't cut costs on driver comfort. I can feel a rash forming on my skin just thinking about it. Truck drivers are some of the most nasty individuals when living in a truck. How could they NOT replace the mattress with a NEW one in between drivers? Nasty, nasty, nasty, nasty. I doubt this recruiter (like any other recruiter) has actually witnessed any "deep cleaning" of any mattress. If the company is too dusty and cheap to give you a new mattress they most certainly engage in other alarming practices that save them money.

If you are a clean person, demand a new mattress. It's one thing if they inspected the trucks daily and made sure drivers change their linen like in hotels but that's not the case. You can't deep clean months of dirt and filth. STOP BEING FRUGAL, THROW THE ENTIRE MATTRESS AWAY.

I live 40 miles from Classic had a CDL 28yrs. I bounced around with other companies. Never really gave Classic any thought. In 2017 I leased my truck with them and it only took couple months to realize i wasted a lot of years with those other companies. Everything I was looking for in a company was under my nose in Versailles OH. I'm here I love the Freedom they give me as an Owner Op.the money i make is based on my own work ethic. If I was to start my career over Classic Carriers would be my 1st choice they're all business with a Hometown atmosphere.

Trucks are not good was in shop every week the hardly wanted to pay the guaranteed amount, they claimed their equipment was top notch even when I called sitting on the side of interstate asked for new truck and was denied. A lot of out dated equipment, post pics on Facebook page stating they are brining in 2019 but it was 1 truck that a owner op purchased tried their hardest to not let you run over 1700 miles

I'm not sure how you get quality through safety with drivers cussing at other drivers on the CB and tailgating cars at 75 miles per hour (less than one car length). I wish I would have seen the truck number. Not a very professional representation of the company
