Staff were super friendly and reassuring. Dr. Wiley was great, did a fantastic job. Had the SMILE surgery done which went really quick and painless. The results were pretty instant after the procedure and kept getting better over time. Highly recommend!

I couldn’t be more happier with my results from Clear Choice Custom LASIK center! My expectations were exceeded from the second I stepped foot into the building for my consult all the way through to my post-op appointments. The waiting room was extremely neat, patient friendly, and it felt super comfortable! They provide their patients with waters, a super cool Starbucks machine, and warm cookies!

The biggest aspect that stood out the most to me was the staff! Everyone made me feel welcome, always asked if I had any questions/concerns, and if I did they addressed them immediately. Most importantly, everyone always had a friendly smile, and to me that’s what held high importance. No one wants to go into a place feeling unwelcome so I’m very thankful that I choose Clear Choice for my SMILE procedure! Dr. Wiley did an amazing job and made sure I was doing okay throughout the procedure. His words of “you’re doing great” helped keep me calm the entire time and it earned my trust! I’ve already made recommendations to some friends and coworkers to come here for their procedures, it was an 10/10 experience!

Wonderful staff and doctors. The office was beautifully decoratedand clean. The staff are amazing! They made me very comfortable the day of my eye surgery. The surgeon talked to me through each and every step. Knowing my husband was able to watch my surgery through the window of the surgery suite, made it even better. I will definitely be recommending their office to others!

The whole process from pre-op, surgery to post-op went flawlessly! All the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and professional from start to finish, would highly recommend these guys!

Honestly, I want to give a 5 star review, but my surgery experience I feel outweighs the pros. The center is nice. It's very up to date and very efficient. It's a well oiled machine I must say. My eyes turned out as they should, so the end goal was achieve. However, I am very disappointed in the actual care. On my surgery day I expressed the concerns to the doctor and anesthesiologist about the anesthesia I would be given. I had the implantable contact, so it is more like a surgery than the laser. I told them I usually wake us during twilight, so I just wanted to make sure that wouldn't happen. They told me it would be fine. All they gave me were little dissolvable tablets and said if I woke up they would give me more medication through the IV. Well, no surprise, I woke up. I told the Dr I was awake and could feel it. I thought they would put me back to sleep. He just kept saying that it was fine, he was almost done. Well, for most of the 2nd eye I was absolutely awake. NO ONE gave me more anesthesia or tried to do anything to change the situation. They didn't try to add more numbing medication to my eye or nothing. He just completely blew it off. For what I paid to have the surgery, I was very disappointed that they couldn't bother to provide decent anesthesia, especially when I told them it was a concern since I metabolize it quick. Really disappointed.

I was eligible for the SMILE procedure and am thoroughly satisfied with how the preparation and surgery was preformed. Cleared Choice is unique in being one of the few facilities in the area that offer the far less invasive and newer SMILE procedure. I was surprised at how fast and painlessly it was preformed and have not experienced the dry eye symptoms that many people I know who have had LASIK complained to me about. No bloodshot eyes the next day either.

Clear Choice is also far more reliable and customer satisfaction based service rather than the typical fast and loose LASIK centers. I have previously had a pre-operation consultation elsewhere in the area which was obviously trying to get patients in and out without great regard to their well-being. Clear Choice staff gave me a very thorough eye inspection, extremely detailed instructions and a care bag after the free pre-operation exam. Each step was not rushed to ensure that I had the highest likelihood of a successful procedure. The staff was very respectful, kind, and the waiting area was cozy with a fireplace and fresh cookies. For those with family interested in medical practice you can invite them to watch the procedure through a private window and it's great opportunity to have one of the first thing you see after you getting adjusted vision to be your loved ones. Overall it's obvious Clear Choice cares about their patients, and the price for the procedure was straightforward without the cheesy and unnecessary "special offer" discount that comes once a month in other facilities to hard sell you on signing up ASAP. Meanwhile the price is relatively identical (actually cheaper than some) to other places I have been quoted.

In conclusion, if you're looking for a corrective eye surgery in Northeast Ohio I highly suggest this be the facility that you choose. This will save you a lot of time looking elsewhere and likely guarantee a good experience.

I came in for lasik surgery this place is simply amazing one of the best medical experiences I’ve ever had. The staff was super friendly, there was cookies and water for guest to enjoy they really made you feel like you were at home. All and all I was super satisfied with my surgery and the experience I had at clear choice I’d recommend to any one who has issues with their eyes.

Getting Lasik changed my life. The staff at Clear Choice Brecksville was outstanding. I always felt welcomed every time I came in. If you have reservations I recommend doing the consultation and learning more about the services they provide and what you qualify for.

Kind of wish I hadn't done it. The cons outweigh the pros. Staff was nice. Just didn't get the eagle eyes I was promised and now the near sight is beyond atrocious.

From Consulting till post ops, Clear Choice experience has been very comforting and the procedure went like a breeze. Each appointment experience has been to the satisfactory and I am glad I made the right choice.

The entire staff was so kind and friendly. The offices were clean and welcoming. From start to finish the process was great. They even have fresh baked cookies! If you're considering laser eye correction you should absolutely do it at Clear Choice!

Absolutely terrific from beginning to end. I am a high anxiety person to where even calling made me nervous. Everything about this place helps create a more comfortable atmosphere. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable and took the time to answer every question I had. It's possible you might find a place that is a little bit cheaper but I highly recommend you stick with Clear Choice: everything about my experience was top notch. I just had my surgery yesterday and it's been a dream come true waking up and being able to see. If you are on the fence about LASIK. DO IT! It will change your life. It's been one day and it's already done so for me.

EDIT 8/15/17: I just had a follow-up appointment yesterday and my vision is just shy of 20/10. I constantly get reminders of my vision now when I point out things in the distance and people ask me how I'm able to see that. This is like that toy you wanted more than anything else in the world as a kid.only it's somehow even better than that. I cannot stress enough how happy I am that I did this.

EDIT 6/18/18: Yesterday marked one year since my surgery, and today was my follow-up appointment. My vision is still better than 20/15. My only regret is not doing this sooner. It's truly been a life-changing experience.

EDIT 6/24/19: Yes, I came back after two years to give another update. I just finished my 2 year follow-up and everything is still amazing. If you're reading this and are still on the fence. DO IT!

EDIT 6/19/23: I seriously came back 6 years later to update this review. I'm still at 20/15 vision. My eyes are still healthy. I still have no complications whatsoever. And there are still staff members who were there when I got my surgery 6 years ago who are still there today. I hope these reviews have made it easier on you: Lasik is still one of the best decisions I've ever made, and I'm so glad I chose Clear Choice.

My husband got SMILE here last week and we could not have asked for a better experience. Everyone is so friendly, kind & helpful. We were in and out in an hour. They even let me watch my husband's surgery and talked me through what was happening step by step. The waiting room is also comfy and welcoming. They gave coffee, water, tea & warm cookies to enjoy while you wait! Dr. DeCourcey did a fantastic job. My husband is super happy with the results. No side effects and see better than ever. Goodbye glasses!

Had lasik done this past Saturday. Woke up Sunday morning and I could read the neighbors address across the street. Highly recommend. Everyone at clear choice was friendly and asked me multiple times if I had any questions and made it a comfortable and welcoming experience. Procedure is a little nerve racking but they go above and beyond to inform you and make sure you’re ok. Best decision I’ve made. It’s amazing to wake up and not have to worry about glasses and contacts anymore! 10/10 recommend.
