Very welcoming, clean, and the app makes signing up for water walking, lap swimming, or other classes so easy.

I purchased a family pass years ago. My wife enjoyed the indoor track, the boys would play basketball and swim, and I utilized the free weights. I would frequently use the lockers but never kept items in there for more than a few days knowing there were scheduled clean outs in which advance notice was given for members to remove their belongings. After a pulled muscle in my back, I was not able to stop by the gym to workout or pick up my belongs. It turns out during that time, the Y initiated a program where every other locker would be only for day use and its contents would be emptied at the end of the day. After returning to the Y, I found that the locker containing my items happened to be one of those. Therefore, my lock was cut off and all my items removed. In my locker was the following:
- $175 pair of running shoes
- $125 pair of spin shoes
- shower flip flops
- swimming accessories (goggles, ear plugs, etc)
- iPhone charger and plug
- wireless earbuds
- other less pricey items
When I inquired at the front desk, I was told of the new policy and informed that the items were removed and given to a local thrift shop. I later drove to the thrift shop with no luck of reacquiring my items. From the Y staff there was no sympathy in their explanation, no attempts to offset my loss (a few months of free membership), and their caviler attitude made my blood pressure skyrocket. Any person with any common sense after clearing out a locker full of obviously important belongings would put them aside with the notion that someone would be back for them soon but this did not happen. This style of customer service does not deserve my business nor does it deserve yours. I have since cancelled my membership and have zero plans on returning.
