Cleveland Clinic - Family Health Center Independence

I have been a patient at the Independence Health Center for 10+ years. I don’t have any thing to report negative about the service, employees or procedures put in place at this facility. I am very pleased with the services from OT, PT, Urgent care and my general medical care.

Nurse practitioner said no antibiotics were needed. I had terrible sinus infection and 2 days later my nose was so swollen and infected it looked like I got punched by Mike Tyson.
Went to new doctor and antibiotics were prescribed and magically got better. UNREAL!

Don't ever get labs here.first time called me as soon as I got home and said they forgot one and that I needed to come back. They next time waited over an hour and said there was many people in front of me.however many people came and went while I waited.

Watch out for Matthew Krohn, CNP. Very unprofessional, disrespectful and rude. Lacks experience and knowledge. Avoid any appointments with him.

The nurse at colonoscopy, ignorant, unprofessional, arrogant. I lost any trust to be treated under that kind of supervision.

I will never come here again. They refuse to give me care and had me wait for two hours. Never knew that a hospital can refuse to give you care.

Dermatologist was despicable.
The oriental doctor.
Never will I waste my time with her.
She said make an appointment to come in for a prescription refill that has been working.
We drive from mentor to see her and she then says no she will non it fill the medication that worked for skin disorder.
Huge waste of my time.
Why tell someone to come in for an appointment to get a refill then they drive to you and you say no!
Appointment took 2 minutes. Inrealoes she only wanted to bill insurance and have me come in unreal.

NO SHE CAN BILL MY INSURANCE FOR MONEY

I’ve been a patient here for over 10yrs.even when living out of state I still make time to schedule in my appointment. I’ve looked past prior coding issues but this year I’m LIVID! When speaking about BC I’m concern to acne they slapped a $60 “office visit” weeks later and denied an overturn. I’m sorry, what? Isn’t that why they’re their to discuss these medical concerns. So when the doctor says “do you have any other questions or concerns am I suppose to ask will you charge me for my question? Unbelievable. This nickel and diming “healthcare” has gone way to far. So much for a leading name.

I really don't get it, cost of health care keeps rising yet the quality keeps dropping. An hour after my scheduled appointment an the doctor is running behind by more than an hour. This is the third time that I'm left to either suffer or waste half of my day here.

Dr Love is the most amazing pediatrician there is in the area. I would recommend here to everyone.

Horrible customer service. The front desk will set you up for an appointment, tell you one thing but the set appointment is a totally different day. But when you don't show up you're in the wrong when that's not the day they told you it was over the phone. Then the receptionist will get an attitude with you when you never got one with them. The entitlement of these people is appalling. I guess you think since you work for Cleveland Clinic its a badge of honor with bragging rights. You are just a secretary with a fancy title. Know your place. I can't wait for robots to start taking over these middle man positions so these vile people can go sit in a dark corner for the rest of their lives.

I was put behind a white guy and give the excuse it was his appointment was before mine. I arrived before him and got my x-ray before him but was serviced after him and the the doctor was running late it. Very disappointed in the service I received from the bald white guy at the front desk of the orthopedic office. He then even gave me a nasty attitude when I asked how he is being seen before me. My appoint was at 8: 30 it is now 9: 10 and still waiting. The board doesn’t even indicate that the doctor is running late

Save your co-pay. One of the worst experiences ever. Unfriendly, cold environment, plus my daughter and I were both misdiagnosed. Not what I expected from Cleveland Clinic. BEWARE: My daughter ended up having Pneumonia! They knew her lungs felt tight yet sent her home with nothing but an inhaler, No xrays No antibiotics. Waste of time and money.

Went for a safety seminar and the facility was very clean. I was very impressed with the amphitheatre.

Courteous friendly, responsive staff I would recommend this facility to a friend or member of my family.

I started coming here for OB and the receptionist Renee is so sweet! The whole OB department is so helpful and welcoming! Then I had to get a TB shot on the third floor and the nurse and CNPs were just as professional, easy to schedule with and helpful. Lastly, I came down with a nasty cold and the express clinic was great! I've honestly dreaded going to the doctor until I found this building. Such a relief!

The Cleveland Clinic is indeed one of the best hospitals around, but unfortunately with its growth in has indeed declined in quality of care. The center at Rockside though has always been exceptional in meeting my expectations.

Love the Independence FHC! Dr Awadalla in primary care is phenomenal. She makes me very comfortable and her MA, Amberly, is so nice as well. The pharmacy staff on the first floor is quick, knowledgeable, and friendly. The lab staff is efficient and also very friendly. Parking is easy - it's all close, free, and covered options are available. I would highly recommend this facility.

Horrible appointment scheduling. And they're good for cancelling your appointment on the day of the appointment. They even cancelled​ my kids 1yr appointment just 2 hours before his appointment.
