Every time we go there it is excellent they took care of my brother he had blood clots in leg and lung they transported him to Akron General Hospital

If you are a person of color do not i repeat do not go to this emergency room location if you are sick! You will be racially profiled and will be put at the bottom of the list to be seen. I went in before work and was treated like i crawled out of the garbage by Jeff he told me they only have one doctor and there is no time that I will be seen? While servicing other patients that came in after me! Very rude! As a healthcare worker you take an oath to serve the people and not treat anyone poorly seeking medical attention! I am very disappointed in the lack of care I received from this location. People of color go somewhere that is not biased and cares for everyone.

I have to admit that many of my experiences here have been positive and that I believe many competent and caring professionals work here. However, my struggles with getting a simple referral from multiple locations belonging to the Cleveland Clinic have been so frustrating that I cannot leave anything but a one star review.

I have had to change insurances in the middle of attempting to diagnose gastrointestinal problems, and therefore had to transition to Summa. I called the gastroenterologists at the Cleveland Clinic Akron General hospital for a referral several times over the course of over a month. Each time, they tell me they will send one right over. I wait a few days, call Summa, and they tell me they have not received it. I call Cleveland Clinic again, and they have no idea what's going on, misunderstand my request, have no record of my asking for a referral, and I have to do the whole thing over again.

Finally, I called the office of the doctor who originally wrote the referral who works at this location, as I was told primary physicians are the doctors who typically write referrals. The office could not find the original referral that my PCP wrote. It was unquestionably his office because I haven't seen any other doctors about this problem. They said they would send one over anyway, but, it appears, they did not send one.

For standard treatment, your experience here may very well go fine here, at least as well as you're going to get. Anything slightly out of the ordinary, though, and you could be held back for months because of apathy and incompetence.

Always super fast, nice helpful, hardworking staff! I will be definitely returning if I need to go to the emergency room!

Long wait, efficient and quick care. In total I was at the ER for about 4 hours, I waited for about 3 hours but once I was called back I was taken care of within the span of an hour. Despite the wait, the had a consistent rotation of patients in and out. Once I was taken back, care was administered quickly.

Doctors consistently leaving always have to see new doctor. Also they don't do what's best for patients just what's easiest for them!

Complete joke and terrible service. I showed up 30 mins early to my first apt for my new primary care dr. Over an hour later I found out I was never checked in. I was assured that it would only be a few mins later and I would be able to pick up my kids. 15 mins later, I still hadn't been called back nor could they figure out their computer system. A complete waste of time, especially for a "world class" hospital.

Don’t know what they’re doing anymore. Really messed things up for me. I even confirmed what they were doing before they did it and they still messed it up.

I have been to this ER several times over the years and it is always a great experience (as much as going to the ER can be!). The staff is always kind and efficient, but recently I went in with severe abdominal pain and I was lucky enough to have probably the best staff members! Christina was one of the best nurses I have ever had. She was absolutely incredible. One of the first times I didn’t bruise like crazy from an IV! Duane, the radiology tech, was fantastic! He made me feel super comfortable in an uncomfortable setting and made sure to explain everything fully. I don’t think I will go to any other ER with this one around. Quality care at it’s finest!

Around this time last year I went to this ER with abdominal pain that I had been happening for 3 years- since my tubal ligation with filshie clips 2019 and none of my doctors or obgyn believed the clips were the cause. I had just came in after a panic attack and felt so defeated that I was going to be in pain forever. I was a sobbing mess. The nurse practitioner and nurses took care of me with such compassion! They ordered a CT scan verifying that the clips from my tubal ligation fell off and migrated where all of my pain was. They referred me to a new obgyn and I finally was able to get all of the migrated clips removed and have my fallopian tubes removed as well! Because these women took me seriously I have been pain free for a whole year! THANK YOU SO MUCH if you ladies remember me and ever read this!

I can honestly say I had a good experience here. This hospital exceeded my expectations of caregiving and Brett my nurse made me feel comfortable and warm. Dr. J Mistifer who took care of me did an excellent job diagnosing me and provided me with thorough aftercare protocols. Thank you for taking care of me.

Miss Kira is the sweetest nurse I have ever worked with! She made me feel so welcome and comfortable! I hope she has all good things coming to her life!

Waited two hours and witnessed multiple people go back before I was called back. When I asked the issue was just told unapologetically that they were busy.

When I got there with my 1 year old son and got checked in the guy checking us in acted like it was silly that I came there with him when he had a 103 fever all day and it wouldn't come down. Then we get to the back, he gets diagnosed with an ear infection, and then they give him antibiotics and tylenol. When I'm about to check out I realize that they had his weight down for over double what he weighs. I brought it to their attention and they acted like it was right, made me remeasure him and then realized their mistake. They never apologized, they never reassured me he'd be alright after getting improperly medicated, or acted like it was a big deal. There were red flags along the way that I should've noticed looking back. But I will NEVER go back here. If I didn't notice my son would've been double dosed all week with tylenol and antibiotics. NEVER GO HERE. THEY DONT CARE.

We have had a rough week, with all three boys getting strep, and finally mom getting sick. 4 trips to this ER within 48 hours. The staff have been amazing. Helpful, friendly, understanding, and very efficient. No visit took more than an hour

If you coming to E. R don’t waste ur time they don’t do there job and waste ur time doctor will take 2-3 hrs to come in to say hey let me listen ur heart lol what a waste of time

I had an appointment scheduled for 3: 05 today at the Stow Ohio Allen road location suite 300 with Dr. Kathryn Clark primary care. I checked in and was in the empty waiting room. I took a call from my surgeons office in regards to my primary care appointment. I quietly took the call but was asked by the receptionist to take the call in the hallway which I did. When I came back in she was telling the other 2 receptionists how rude I was. I asked her was she referring to me and she said yes. I was completely embarrassed and left the office. This is no way to treat a new patient and she definitely does not represent the clinic as decent or caring individual. This is an absolute shame as I have been waiting for this appointment and now I have to reschedule with another office which takes away from my recovery and my health. This woman has no business in interacting with the public let alone people that are trying to get their health back after a major surgery.
