I go there a lot for food deliveries on uber eats and doordash, so it's obvious the food is really good, the service is awesome.

Horrible phone service called twice and sat on hold for 10 mins and still couldn't order food

Horrible! Walked in after paying to park and the lady wouldn’t let us in because my Husband had his coffee cup. We were ordering coffee anyways in their cup. No reason to turn away three orders of breakfast especially when they would have been paying for their coffee. Very rude server. Their loss of business.

Great breakfast spot with a simple food menu and great coffee. The staff was excellent. They must be doing something right to be in business for so long.

Simple, straightforward, unique and affordable pretty much sum the experience. The place is small but cozy with a vibe bigger restaurants would love to have. Food took a little longer than usual to get to the table but it's hardly an inconvenience. Portions are just right and so are the prices.

We went looking for a nice Sunday breakfast coffee place and found the Coffee Pot. It was really great. Food was delicious as was the coffee. The prices are affordable

Customer service sucked, I asked for jelly, ketchup and silverware and received none of those items. The potatoes tasted like the grill or whatever they cook on was dirty. Bad first experience

Food is DELICIOUS but call in & order to go! That way you're not waiting forever.

Did not have utensils in the bag and I could not eat on the go. Take payment over the phone and I canceled order because I only have cash. What type of place…?

Food was excellent. Everyone was friendly. And the kids said they were some of the best pancakes they've ever had.

The customer service is NOT the same since the original owner stepped down. I ordered breakfast which included pancakes. I realized when I got home that we had no syrup or anything. I was told that "you have to ask for that. We're trying to save money" Who serves food and make customers ask for a condiment that is usually served with it? I was a frequent customer when the mom operated it. I WISH COMMON SENSE WAS MORE COMMON.

I was looking for a family breakfast place and I normally have to drive very far to get to the old restaurant I used to go to.but now this is my new favorite place good food great service just what am looking for

I've lived in 6 States and traveled to 28 countries and I've eaten potatoes in all of them.but nothing can compare to the pure joy that I experienced while eating their home fries. WOAH.
If you're in the area, try this place out. If you're not in the area, get here. You won't be disappointed.

About 10yrs ago I was told it was great. It was just okay when I went, but my visit today wash very good. The seasoned potatoes were great, portions were good, friendly staff. The place is small, it's extra small with reduced seating because of covid. This is the only place I know of that'll let you pick any 8 items for an omelette without charging you a fortune per item. Good selection of items. Prices are very reasonable. I'd recommend giving it a try.

Mediocre at best. My husband and I just moved to Lakewood, our first morning here we decided to try this place based on reviews but were disappointed. We thought we would be able to sit down and eat, but no. The owner/cook/whoever greeted us said they were only doing take out, we asked why he said “because I've been in and out all day” okay, whatever that means.so we order, wait for our food, ask the server who’s finally made herself visible if the inside is closed due to Covid she said “no, he just does whatever he wants and I’m the only other one here” good to know. Our food was cooked WAY too fast, I was extremely skeptical taking it but I went home and attempted to eat it anyway. Now this is important- I live FOUR MINUTES away from this establishment, my food could not have gotten cold on the way home. My home fried potatoes were cold to the touch and underdone so bad, they were basically mush. The sausage you can tell is cheap and pumped with water, the only flavor it had was a hint of wet dog so after one bite I gave the sausage to my actual dog. My eggs were so yellow and had a rubbery texture, they almost felt like children’s play food. As far as my husband’s meal, I’ve never seen him not finish a stack of pancakes. I’m definitely not impressed like I thought and will probably not give this place a second chance. Also, a place called the coffee pot I’d assume would have more than just regular and decaf, but hey, what do I know.

Overall, Not Great.
I've been to the coffee pot on several occasions and the food is fine, it's exactly what you'd expect for cheap diner food. But the service is really where they drop the ball. The place is REALLY small, 6-7 tables maybe, so expect to wait a while. But when doing so, you'll be standing outside and they don't takes names or keep any sort of list as to who is next to get a table, so you will have to memorize who else has been waiting out on the street with you. If you do finally get a table, you can expect the service and attitude of the staff to be as mediocre as the food.

I was very disappointed, they were highly disrespectful and had awful service! They messed up several of my orders and did NOT seem sorrow or remorseful of their lack of respect and service!

Wonderful place that my girlfriend and I stumbled upon. Delicious food and wonderful people. Can't wait to go back.

First and foremost I’m reviewing this establishment in receipt to a review I received at my business. I will state I have never stepped foot in this establishment nor have I ever spent money in this establishment. I’m writing this review to let the public know the type of people who own and operate this establishment. 

I own and operate Auto Expo USA.  The owner of the coffee pot came to our store multiple times with multiple family members to purchase vehicles. All of which were taken care of and eventually were able to purchase cars and get financed. Unfortunately one situation went very very south. Customer purchased a car and put money down and was approved and financed by the bank. When it came time to pay the first payment they did not pay the payment as agreed and also missed a schedule reset time to pay the payment. When notified by the store that the car was going to get repossessed by the bank orAuto Expo Usa the customer still did not reply. It’s called first payment default. Auto Expo USA owns the vehicle and now has to repossess the vehicle at that point.  when Auto Expo USA arrive to pick up the vehicle the customers or customer then was extremely defiant and used foul language and was very argumentative. The customer then gets in the vehicle and takes off and ends up leading a crazy and dangerous car chase through Lakewood Ohio. Once the vehicle arrived at the location it was blocked in and the repossession proceeded. Once the vehicle was repossessed all down payment money was still refunded back to the customer. So therefore the customer drove a vehicle for a month and a half never made one car payment and was refunded all down payment. This establishment called us deceitful. So please be the judge. 

I highly recommend that no one does business with The Coffee Pot. This is not a honest group of people.
