Coldwell Banker King Thompson - Southeast Regional reviews
1I must share my experience with their realtor. I allowed her to list a home that I had for sale. When I listed the property, I stated the price I desired for the property and what it was worth. She did, what I thought was a prelimenary walk through of the property. She insisted on listing the property as it was. I stated that I did not think the property was ready to be put on the market. She insisted that it was and stated that we should list it at $15,000.00 below the asking price to gain buyers interest and possibly get in a bidding war. A buyer that had seen the property during rehab reached out to directly concerning the property.proceeded to take the buyer on as a client in order to get the commission for listing and selling the property (something I figured out after seeing the closing paperwork). When I confronted her about her unscrupulous business tactics, she stated that "that's how it is done! " So needless to say, not only did the house sell $15,000.00 less than market value in a sellers market but at the closing, I found out that the buyer was approved for a larger loan! Insisted that the house go on the market missing finishing touches, made herself a double agent to get twice the commission then proceeded to allow the home to sell less than what the market value was even with the buyer having access to more funds. Since leaving the closing, I've discussed my concerns with several clients and at least one had a bad experience to report when dealing with. I'VE CUT ALL TIES WITH ALL COLDWELL BANKER KING THOMPSON BRANCHES. IF YOU CHOOSE TO USE ONE, I WOULD TELL YOU TO THINK TWICE BEFORE USING MS. I suspect other negative reviews will begin to appear as well.
