We absolutely loved our stay at Columbia Woodlands. Our cabin was clean and cozy and well stocked with everything we might need. Including multiple special treats. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Superior service. The area is just beautiful and we enjoyed several tours around on the golf cart provided. We also loved the many scenic hiking trails through the woods. The view from ceremony hill is just beautiful. Plenty of wildlife to see also. We even had several turkeys strut in front of our cabin. There were many places on the property to sit and relax and enjoy a campfire that was ready to light. We also enjoyed paddling around the pond in the canoe provided. The food (which was delivered wherever we wanted) was Delicious! Awesome place to visit.

****-BRIDE BEWARE-*******

My fiance and I decided to book with columbia woodlands back in March of this year. After we signed the contract and put down a 3500 dollar deposit we were exited about the most important day of our life. WRONG! Despite repeated attempt to contact our wedding coordinator, we heard nothing for 7 months. All calls and text messages went unanswered and we were left in the dark. Fast forward to about a week ago and we receive a call from a new wedding coordinator (apparently the old one quit) and we began working on the most important day of our lives. During the meeting she presented us with updated pricing where all items had increased 50% to 60%. When we disclosed our shock we were told she could make it right and get us the pricing that we were originally presented with when we signed the contract for our day. Over the next week we struggled to get in contact with their manager Danielle. She seems to never be in the office or available to take calls (Exactly what you want when you are stressed about the most important day of your life) Her rudness and shortness of our calls led us to back out and get our money back. Unfortunately, after she promised to return our deposit she sends us an email stating that she will not return it.

If you care about having a smooth and peaceful wedding. DO NOT BOOK HERE!

We had the best time staying here with family and friends while attending a family wedding. Lots of room to relax or wander and staff were great.

Great place to stay. Lakeside cabin was amazing. Beautiful decor. Log cabin with beautiful high end amenities you would not expect, with a warm and inviting feel. They had the cabin temperature set to our liking when we arrived and had our favorite music playing as we walked up to the front doors. Staff was beyond exceptional. We were greated with smiles and warm chocolate chip cookies. They catered to every need while there. We were never left with out. Even though they were fully booked, we felt as though we were the only ones there majority ot the time, due to the size of the property. It was a nice romantic get away for my husband and I. We are already planning our next trip.

We had a wonderful time during our visit. The property is huge and has many beautiful views and tons of wildlife. The cabin was clean and had many nice little details. Complimentary sangria and wine were perfect to enjoy on top of ceremony hill. The guest service girls were amazing and thoughtful and getting food delivered to you anywhere on property is a great option.
However I do think the food and drinks are overpriced especially when they don’t want you to bring in your alcohol. Which they don’t check for just fyi.

All in all we enjoyed our time and will be back.

Where do I start. Land beautiful, tent nice but missing amenities. Did not have our reservations despite having a paid receipt. Poor customer service. Did not refund a package ordered-$100. Believe they gave us a tent not ready and charged us 7 hours cleaning despite leaving it in good order $280z
Charged us $300 pet fee for a dog we did not have. Won’t answer emails or call. We are 70 and 80 years old that were taken advantage of. All beware!

We just had the best time ever here. My daughter said, “I want to stay here a month” when we were leaving. The staff is beyond exceptional! Food and drinks were awesome. Accommodations were 5 star! Can’t wait to come back.

My husband & I got married here December 2022 Let me start by sharing the positives of this venue: IT IS GORGEOUS. Our photos were beautiful and we were able to mostly get the wedding we envisioned. The wait staff the day of our wedding was amazing. They set aside cocktail hour food for my husband and I, they constantly asked us if we needed a drink and they helped us set up and pack things up at the end of the night. The food was amazing. We had so many compliments on the food served. We did beef short ribs, tuscan chicken, risotto, green beans and glazed carrots. I couldn't be happier with the food. The service to the bridal suite was also great. We had quite the handful of struggles with this venue. It took me a while to even consider writing a review, but I do feel as much money goes into the venue, you should be aware of what may happen, or at least what happened to us. To be transparent, we spent $27,000 on the venue alone. Not including outside vendors. To begin, I had been in contact with their wedding coordinator to do a tour. We showed up on our tour to find out our coordinator we had been in contact with quit that day. We were showed around by this sweet lady who worked at the office and she truly did her best to answer questions. We met the bar manager and chef, they both did great at answering questions. We came back a second time because we fell in love with the venue and were greeted with a new coordinator. We did a majority of our planning with her, and she was amazing! To my surprise, closer to our wedding, she quit. The venue never said anything to the brides about this. I found out from another CW bride who was getting married soon. Around the same time, I had found out the bar manager and chef we originally met quit or were fired also. We had already signed our deposit so this worried us. Our third coordinator with the venue, Brittany did the absolute best she could give the new weddings she was thrown into. She truly did the best she could. We did a tasting with a new chef (second we had met), and had our menu mostly figured out. Shortly after, she was fired/quit. We were months away from our wedding and now had our THIRD coordinator, THIRD chef and a SECOND bar manager. We had roughly 16 months from when we signed out contract to when we got married. Now we are on our third chef, and a new menu planning. He was amazing and gave us such a relief for the stressors the venue was causing us, and his food was a huge highlight of our wedding. We chose to have the venue buy our alcohol rather than a full bar. When we signed our contract, the full bar option was $65/pp putting us at $13,000 for a full bar. Our second coordinator told us having the venue order the alcohol would be cheaper, so we did that instead. Our third coordinator had the bar manager do our purchasing numbers for alcohol, making it more affordable around $5,000. After we completely paid the venue off a month prior to the wedding, I get a phone call stating we bought wayyyy to much alcohol. With all of the numbers given to us BY THE BAR MANAGER. This was CW ordering the alcohol we needed, and then us reimbursing. After complaining we ordered what they told us, they said there was no option for us, no refund, no taking the alcohol at the end of the night. Overall, our wedding was beautiful. But if I were to do it again, it would NOT be at this venue. The hassle we went through for the $27,000 we spent, was unprofessional and not worth it.

We love taking mini trips here. Feels like a vacation without the stress of an actual trip.

I don't even know where to begin. Bottom line, if you looking for a place to have your wedding, do yourself a favor and book at Columbia Woodlands and the Spring House. My husband and I were just blown away with how incredible our wedding weekend was. First of all, all of the staff that works at Columbia is top notch. Their service was amazing and they were all so friendly and accommodating. We did not want for anything the entire weekend. We would like to make special mention of Brittany, their wedding event coordinator. She was so so wonderful throughout the entire process and was so organized and on top of everything during our wedding weekend. We did not have to worry about a thing and we cannot thank her enough! We rented two cabins (Rockpath & Dreamcatcher) for our wedding party and they were both gorgeous. We would definitely recommend doing this if you book a wedding because it really made the whole weekend that much more special to stay on their beautiful grounds and have everyone in one place. The Spring House and ceremony amphitheater are breathtakingly gorgeous. So many of our guests kept commenting on how beautiful the venue was. They basically set up everything for us minus a couple of decorations, but really the venue doesn't need much due to how beautiful it already is. The food service was also delicious. Our wedding menu we picked was so well thought out with a lot of options, and even the breakfast and lunch they brought to our cabins was so delicious. I could go on and on about how wonderful and perfect our weekend was, but bottom line is you NEED to book Columbia Woodlands for your wedding or next event. You will NOT be disappointed.

Me and my fiance stayed here 11/4-11/6 and it was an absolutely perfect weekend. The property is beautiful and the staff was amazing. We stayed in one of the glamping tents and we had the entire tent camp to ourselves making it very nice. Having the golf cart to explore the 400 acres definitely made the experience better. Also, there were so many deer and other animals on the property. It was a truly relaxing weekend. We will definitely be back.

Amanda and I made our second trip to CW to see the autumn colors this week. The service is world class! Rachel and Ryan have taken great lengths to ensure all of the detail of the entire property is perfect. We felt like we had the entire 400 acres to ourselves even though the property was fully rented while we were there. The hiking trails are beautiful and our cabin, Rising Sun (2nd stay there) was perfect for two people. The concierge service was impeccable! This destination is quiet, beautiful and intimate. Amazing! Can't wait to plan our next stay. Thank you to the entire staff.
