Comfort Dental, Columbus OH

I'm mildly confused, as I'd had a review written out nearly a year ago and it disappeared apparently? But me and my family went here for years. We didn't have problems with them at all until our last time here. This all was for an appointment for my oldest daughter. They had seen her a week before hand and due to panic from seeing the dentist they had said they were going to prescribe her three pills for anxiety: one to take the night before, one to take that morning and one to take an hour before the appointment time. We called when they'd only called in one pill, and they said take it an hour before the appointment. They didn't bother prescribing the other two. We got there and waited in the car for over an hour before she was called back, as this was when Covid started. She ended out still quite awake and nervous, so instead of giving another week and actually giving her the prescription they said she would, which would have knocked her out so she could be worked on, they started loudly lying in the office, knowing there were people in the seats on each side of her saying she had lice and they couldn't work on her anyway, after they'd already tried to start and failed due to her nerves as a way to get rid of her. She ended out panicking and nearly ran out to the car in tears. I will NEVER take anyone there, and I do my best to tell anyone I can NOT to take anyone there. If you're afraid of a dentist, they will do any underhanded, backstabbing thing they can to get rid of you, and if you suffer from mental illness and anxiety, like my daughter, they can leave you in shambles.

Asked to be rescheduled for an appointment and was scheduled for a reminder, drove 30 mins for no reason, worst dentist ever

Second time back and I still love it here! The receptionist was super quick and efficient. I was able to check in within 5 minutes of being there and it took 30 seconds. The wait was about 8-10 minutes and they got my X-rays and such right away. Hana was super sweet and talked to me while I waited for the doctor. Dr. Hayek is a new doctor but she was absolutely amazing! Super gentle and informative. She done my cleaning and addressed any and all questions I had. Christine cleaned my teeth afterwards and do I love her! She is funny and super polite! Christine is my favorite person there! Comfort dental will forever be my favorite because I hate going to dentist but they make it easy every time I’ve been!

Clean and professional dental office! Dr. Horwood is an exceptional dentist, kind, professional and always solves all my teeth problems!

I am one of those people who are terrified of the dentist. Dr. Patel was fantastic with easing my nerves and explaining everything thoroughly. I knew I was in good hands. My teeth have not felt this great in years and I am excited about the plan we have developed to give me the perfect smile. Thank you Dr. Patel.

My fiancé was seen by Dr. Horwood. She was rude and unprofessional. My fiancé kept telling her that the dentures wasn’t fitting properly. He saw her 3 times and he told her about the temporary dentures how it didn’t fit right and she then proceeded to tell him well if u give me $600 to fix the mistakes she did and then she went to 400. She charged his insurance for procedure she didn’t do. And when he told her about it she got rude. Fast forward to 7/14/21 he went to pick up his dentures and paid the final bill Dr Horwood did not want to see him and had someone else come out. He told the assistant that the dentures still wasn’t right and she had Dr. Horwood come out and she just unprofessional she refunded what I had paid and told me she can’t do anything else and walked off. I will NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE HORWOOD IS VERY unprofessional.and he still can’t wear the dentures because they dnt fit properly. I will be calling the BBB. To file a complaint.

I was particularly impressed by Dr. Patel & Tina and Comfort Dental's ability to handle a much needed reconstruction of my teeth and gaps etc. -so effortlessly, all while I play music with my headphones. The staff were beyond friendly, knowledgeable and very professional, in regards to billing my insurance for procedures, and helping me figure out the co-payment amount.
I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for an honestly amazing dental experience from professionals.

Dr. Horwood is my dentist there. And she is AMAZING! She has a great bedside manner, explaining everything to me. Her assistant Lexi was so sweet and kind. I had to get a lot of work done and they both made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Great office front staff as well, warm and welcoming. Jessica, helped me figure out my insurance and she was so sweet and professional. Highly recommend Comfort Dental

My daughter had beautiful teeth. She was playing with her 2 year old son and he accidently threw a toy and hit her in the mouth breaking her 2 front top teeth. Talk about heartbroken and devastated! I was certain they was beyond repair. I called comfort dental and they got her in the very same day and not only did they get her in asap Danielle made sure my baby girl left there with her smile just as perfect as it was before. I am so greatful to her! She did amazing and you cant even tell they were ever broken. Highly recommend this office the staff and Especially Danielle!

Great service and very friendly, doctor August and assistant Emily are amazing. If you don’t like going to the dentist this is where you need to come they make you feel welcome and explain everything very clearly. Very professional

My daughter's go to this office for braces. My daughter had a piece break and needed it fixed right away because she could not eat. We called the evening it happened and left a message to have a call to schedule an appointment to get it fixed. We did not receive a call back so we went into the office. My husband walled in with her and explained to the very rude receptionist what was going on and she talked to him very rudely and said well I can't help you so you have to wait until they are back. Not professional. I will never recommend this office due to the unprofessional staff!

I have come to this place several times, usually I have a good experience. The doctor I used to see she made it a point to say hi and explain what was going to happen that day. Last time I went there there was somebody else instead, before I even had a chance to look at my doctor face he pressed my chair down and started the procedure. I was very alarmed that the doctor didn't care to say hi to me atleast. The reason why this matter to me is I deal with anxiety and it helps me to know what is going on. The lady that got me from the lobby didn't care to say anything to me also.

Dr. Patal, Janak is such a nice man! Did x rays, filled cavities and pulled 2 wisdom teeth in one visit! Extremely thankful to have such a great dentist experience today. He's also very funny!

Dr. Patel and Nabaa were really helpful and got my wisdom tooth out in no problem and pretty quick. Also gave me tips so I wouldn’t be in too much pain. Great service and great employees recommend coming here.

During my first appointment I was really nervous as I had a really bad cavity and hadn’t been to the dentist in a while. Emily was so kind, she listened to my concerns and immediately made me feel comfortable! Dr. Horwood worked quickly, efficiently and extracted my tooth with ease. One of the best experiences I have had at a dental office.

Emily and Dr. Sforza were both very helpful in every step of the way and made sure I was taken care of on my first visit. I recommend!

They just seem really lax and unprofessional. I mean it was folks running to their desk with food then talking about orders and what not instead of helping paying customers. Dr. Patel pulled my tooth very violently which caused it to break then he was resting his hand on the back part of my jaw and I had to tell him it was hurting me, he also left pieces of tooth in my gums! I hate the dentist already and this didn't help how I feel about them at all. Is it that hard to find a good competent and caring dentist! Healthcare and Dental care are money driven now days and it's unfortunate

Emily and the dentist were great. I came in for wisdom teeth extraction and didn’t feel anything. The care was perfect and I recommend to everyone.
