If this place is your only option, you have my sympathy. You would be better off trying Youtube for some advice on home dental care. They were supposed to fix my partial, but after destroying the one I had, took so log to get it remade, the teeth had shifted. This was the third time I was there. The blamed "THE LAB". When I commented on the slow service, the dentist just smiled and said, "You could just go some where else". AVOID!

My mother had a horrible experience, went in to get an X-ray for an infection in her tooth.the dentist (a younger woman) wouldn’t even look into her mouth, didn’t prescribe any antibiotics for infection which is the LEAST she should’ve done.very disappointed

THE NEW DENTIST is who i am referring to in my review.
It was so wild I walked into their office and there was no one in there as far as patients go.
The dentist came in did not take X-rays I had a chipped tooth and an infected pulp that needed attention due to pain.
The dentist stated I chose to grind my teeth and it will continue to happen so why fix it? !? !
Does she possibly have telepathy of teeth?
She neglected any fillings due to lack of time, even though it was a ghost town in there? !
She stated again to me after I questioned her that there is no reason in fixing my teeth because it's just going to happen again anyway.
After I left their office I left a message due to the necrosis of the pulp an infection in my tooth I had to call my primary physician for antibiotics
The only thing I heard was a whole lot I was there was a whole lot of crickets but she had no time to do one filling?
Next appointment time to help me isnt until January?
The way I was treated was sickening and anybody that thinks about going to this clinic please think twice!?
As of this morning
The picture that you see above is due to the neglect that I had at my last appointment.
I called CareSource and they said tooth number 11 which is the tooth the picture eligible for a crown.
I have an appointment at comfort Care dental in Xenia tomorrow morning at 7: 15.
I will let everybody know what happens because I am in a lot of pain and tooth pain is the absolute worst!
Being a nurse there is no doubt in my mind there is obviously infection on top of whatever else is going on.
If I lose my tooth due to their neglect there's always a lawyer to call right down the street

I could not be happier with my experience at comfort dental in Xenia! For 1, the staff was INCREDIBLE! Everyone was so sweet and they actually care! I had 3 hours of dental work done yesterday, including: root canal, extraction, and many many fillings. Almost every tooth in my mouth was corrected yesterday and those ladies worked non-stop to give me back my smile. Not only that but I am in ZERO pain today! NONE! I’m so thankful to have found this place!

I cannot begin to express my appreciation to this entire practice! I went in with very low expectations thinking that at most I might get one of my cavities filled. I flew into Ohio from South Carolina during covid. So over the period of almost two years every dentist I went to only did x-rays and scheduled me appointments out for like 6 mos later and then when I went in wanted to pull teeth and I refused to let them do that! But not this time they completely fixed my smile in one day! All four of my front teeth had cavities and needed feelings and needed new veneers. So that's what they did! I walked in with a chicklet smile and walked out with a pepsodent smile! It was absolutely life changing! I haven't been able to smile in a year! Now I'm smiling from ear-to-ear thanks to Comfort Dental! When they handed me the mirror, I saw what they had done I bawled like a big baby! They will be my dentist for life, well unless I move again! And I mean to another state. Just so very very very grateful that they went over and beyond their call of duty and gave me such a big confidence boost and as I said there are no words to describe how truly amazing they made me feel!

We no longer have emergency dental care and dentists know this. Mouth and tooth pain, in most cases, makes simple tasks in everyday life impossible. The pain makes me non functioning. This place used to offer walkins mon thru fri. Now its only mon tues and thurs. And its only 3 maximum. I called yesterday abt an emergency situation for myself even stating to the lady " i know the dentist will start me on antibiotics for this anyways and i have no more from the last time i seen her, can she just send in one so i can start it now before i come in for a walkin tomo? " She took my name and number said she would call me back, never did call back. I went to the ER and i got the antibiotic there, no pain relief as that doctor states "i am not a dentist and wint prescribe anything for dental except antibiotics" Ii suffer thru the evening and get no sleep. Finally at 730 i come up this morning for a walk in, (web says hours starts at 8am). Im then told they convientantly dont have walkins on wed. Lol. I have an obvious absess in my lower gum that is causing me so mych pain due to no relief from the tooth in its way not allowing it relief. Obvious severe facial swelling. And the dentist wont give nothing for the obvious pain im suffering in, because she has not given me any treatment! This is not my fault. I didnt react very well to this, stating to the nurse, "i wemt to ER yesterday, they refuse me pain meds, because he refuses to help ppl for dental issues.i am this dentists patient, and its inhumane to expect a person to suffer in agony for ANOTHER 24 hours" she goes back and proceeds to say "the dentist will fit u in in between scheduled patients, so who knows how long u will wait out here! " Thats fine. Ill update this after my wait to seebif its seemingly intentionàlly lengthy. Bit this is just crazy to me! Yall doctors and your power trip over prescribing "narcotics" is played out! There are ways to monitor what people have been given. Its called insurance and pharmacy records. Stop acting like everyone is wrong when they seek help to eliminate the pain that the freaking meds were created for. I mean our phones monitor EVERYTHING WE. HUMANS DO. This was all
UNNECASSARY roughness on a human. I understand the opiod abuse in the country is off the hook but i also know inthe time it takes to explain or give rreasoning for refusing to merely provide those who are established patients of yours.necassary temporary pain meds, you should just give the necassary meds to hell ur patient be comfortable until they can b e seen by u.
Sorry. Long review. And Im suffering, still waiting!

Nicest dental staff I have ever encountered! All my previous dentists were male, and all but one, were arrogent and/or chauvinistic, so having a female dentist is beyond refreshing! I had such bad experiences with others, I had not seen a dentist in YEARS. It does take months to be seen if you are a new patient (only negative). My husband and I initially went here bc they are one of the few dental offices that accept caresource (we no longer have), but will continue to come here with our private dental insurance, because of how nice everyone was. I have TMJ which makes cleanings/fillings a bit more difficult, and they were so understanding and comforting. I live in Kettering, but worth the drive to me. Glad to have finally found a new dentist!

Worst practice I've ever dealt with. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. Rude staff and Dr. Haella Holmes needs to go back to school.

All I have to say about Comfort Dental is you do not want to go to the one in Xenia. I had an appointment that I waited 3 months for and when I got there they told me they could not help me even though when I called and made the appointment at specifically asked them if they get dentures and they said yes. So when I go in for my appointment which I had to take off work for they ended up telling me sorry but we don't do dentures here after I asked and I was told yes. So therefore the staff and everyone at Comfort Dental is totally unprofessional do not go

My girl had a early am appointment, due to a very bad toothache. She’s in tons of pain and even thou they discussed getting it pulled, this place only did an X-ray and she was told or referred to another dentist.

Makes going to the dentist as not terrible as going to the dentist can be.

Everyone is super nice and walks you through what they're doing. I definitely recommend them.

Absolutely the best experience I've ever had at the dentist! The Dr and staff were nothing short of amazing! Everything was so clean and the staff was so friendly! The lady who did my filings gave me breaks and took her time with me. The Dr told me everything she was going to do before she did it and was very thorough. I recommend them and will be a forever patient.

Had 4 different dentists tell me conflicting things about my sons teeth. He’s been struggling a lot in school because kids will make fun of him for them. The dentist “mcgregor” younger girl long hair, accused us of being “trendy” to try to find somewhere that can do some type of cosmetic dentistry especially when smile wright dental told us eventually vaneers were probably in his future. I was strictly only there to get Info and X-rays. Not to have a passive aggressive exchange while she was addressing my child and over stepping her boundaries as a medical specialist. I advocate for my child. That’s why I’m sitting there with him. To ask questions, to tell you what he’s told me several times at home. The things he’s not going to tell you because he is shy and oh wait…a child. She then proceeded to just ignore me and still address my son while he’s sitting there under a light with his mouth open telling him they are more conservative and how he doesn’t need this or that. Extremely unprofessional. And that’s not for any of the rest of the staff. I’ve been coming here for three years. I wrote an amazing review at first but Ms mcgregor is a flat out joke. She then referred me out to places that aren’t even In line with my insurance because she knew I couldn’t ask them for the information I asked her about. Jokes on her though, because we found an amazing dentist same day who was willing to talk to us about everything and move forward with what is safe for my son at the present time until we can move towards vaneers if he needs them. It was a $100 for the original visit and we were able to get his X-rays in same day as well. I’m so glad there are still medical professionals that don’t take you advocating for your children or asking questions as an attack on their diploma. I’m literally just trying to get my child help dude.

This place is amazing, and so are the people. The environment is surprisingly happy, and upbeat, even though it’s a dental place. I have (had). Some rough teeth. And there was absolutely no judgement- just smiles. The staff answered all my questions and concerns happily. And even gently talked me through some of the worst anxiety, so I could get some fillings. I highly recommend this place. It’s probably the only dental office I’ve actually felt comfortable in.
