Comfort Inn Mount Vernon, Mt Vernon OH

Centrally located, large clean room. All the standard amenities. Beds are firm and comfortable. In-room fridge was large enough to actually be useful. Only drawback was room had no USB charging outlets, only AC outlets so bring an adapter.

I was a guest at comfort in mount Vernon for only one night as I travel for work and was only passing through. Was very pleased with the room that featured a soft king-size bed with nice linens. I am a tall fellow standing 6'5 250 lbs and I found the height of bed to be better suited for a tall man as they were higher than normal, the staff was really friendly, breakfast was good with several options for picky eaters. The hotel is situated right next to a small park along a river bank with concrete steps down to the water and has at night beautifully light traditional foot bridge across the small river.there is even a small dog area. I really enjoyed the hotel and the park and the town of Mount Vernon had a great atmosphere with very friendly people with some great food options

A great place to stay. Just wish their prices weren't so high. Love Comfort Inn. Internet kept messing up. The staff were so nice. They also need different refrigerators. Mine kept defrosting and freezing up. No actual freezer part to it to put any frozen food. Really not big enough for a week's stay. Other than that it was ok.

Had a good stay here. Check in And out was simple enough. Rooms looked and smelled clean. Climate control worked good. Rooms had all the standard amenities you’d expect. Water pressure and temperate were good. Bed was comfortable enough. Don’t really have any complaints.

Employees were excellent and accommodating. Rooms were crowded. Sink not in the bathroom. Very hard moving around. Bed was very comfy.

There is no whirlpool despite being in the description, and the “heated” pool couldn’t have been more than 70degrees, the pool room itself was also on the colder side. The beds are very high, probably 32” or so (based off my 4yr olds height, it came up to his shoulders and he’s about 44”) the height of the beds made me a bit nervous because he rolls around in his sleep and has fallen off before. The room also felt a little cramped which could’ve been due to the size of the beds.

The staff at the Comfort Inn Hotel are racist, disrespectful, nosy, gossipy, and not helpful whatsoever. They have the mentality of 8 year olds. The cost is also too high.

Stayed for one night and had an overall decent experience. Room was around $100, and was a little too pricey for what I got. One of the bedside lights didn't work, the hair dryer started pouring smoke when I turned it on, and the bed was very squeaky (but comfy). Breakfast selection and quality was pretty good. Wifi was free and easy to connect, and was surprisingly fast.

Bed bugs for the second time staying at the hotel. Staff claims that doesn’t happen often but within the past month I’ve had 2 rooms with bedbugs.can’t be a coincidence.

Rooms were clean and location great for our needs. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Only complaint was listening to a yippee dog in the next room when the owner would leave it unattended in the room. It would bark and scratch at the door the whole time they were gone. This Sadly would start around 6: 20am every morning ensuring we might as well get up as it wasn't possible to get any additional sleep. So very tired of hotels allowing pets in hotel rooms when they say they have a no pet policy. Before anyone thinks these are service animals they are not. Service animals are trained for service and don't bark and whine. People leave your stupid pets home for the neighbors to take care of. Noone but you wants to put up with their obnoxious behavior.

I stayed there last night and was awakened around midnight by slamming doors and a woman arguing.this last about an hour! Then in the morning while I was loading up I told my two boys to go grab some breakfast but the guy at the front desk told them no breakfast unless an adult was with them.so after loading up I walked down there and asked him, he said it was there policy but it wasnt posted anywhere and he was very rude! For 160 a night there is much better options in the area!
