Comfort Inn Northeast, Cincinnati OH

I have never stayed somewhere where I was actually worried that the lack of cleanliness may get the guests sick, but this place blew me away in its state of disrepair. The rooms were filthy, sheets stained, walls were cracking, hallway floors were stained and wet, bugs were crawling on the floor and around the toilet in the bathroom and after 4 days of our room not being cleaned, made it to the beds. A thunderstorm knocked out the electricity for the hotel and there was no backup generator and NO safety lights AT ALL! I have never written such a bad review, but equally, I have never stayed in such terrible accommodations before. Sorry, but this place needs a huge overhaul and streamlined management.

Staff is always so nice and friendly and make you feel welcomed. The location is so convenient to a lot of attractions and near many restaurants and places to shop.

Joe the night manager was very polite and responsive. I had a problem in my work and I was late to Chek in. So I called to front desk and asked for check in at 3am cuz I had bad experience the same situation with different hotel when the manager canceled my reservation.
Joe did his best. He told that there's no problem and he will wait us. I appreciate his attitude to customer! 5 stars to Joe!

Hotel is dated, could use a remodel. The best part is the location. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby.

Air conditioner went out between check in and getting back from our evening activity. No other rooms available, and at least 2 other rooms didn’t have AC either. Staff was friendly enough, and refunded us for not having AC. Rooms need updated.

The location looks very sketchy outside and the costumers coming in. The front desk clerk was very nice and helpful. The bed was comfortable, the chair at the desk was comfortable too.
Only three things I wished they had were plug ins for USBs, a large sign to know where the front office is (you can’t tell where everyone parks and it’s whole side of the building), and throw away utensils in the rooms for eating. Otherwise everything was good.

There was a packed parking lot with guests during my arrival.

Went to Kings Island, stayed at this hotel. It was a great price, clean, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Thank you.

Stayed a week at this location. It's an older building but it was nice. Breakfast was basic but it was yummy. There were hot and cold options for you to choose from. I really enjoyed the strawberry flavored waffles with chocolate chips. The rooms were clean. They were very helpful at the front desk. They had an outside pool. Fun shaped. It is NOT heated. So it was definitely cold. But on a warm day it would feel good. The elevator can be intimidating as it's old, but works well and gets the job done. Overall it was a nice location. The beds and pillows in our room were super soft. Would recommend this location.

My husband and I stayed here July 9-12,2023, for a resting getaway. The hotel was conveniently located off of interstate I-275 and I-71. There are a variety of businesses all around (restaurants, shopping, etc). The hotel was clean, my check-in process was smooth and easy (I'm a choice privileges member, and I did a pre-check in the day before). This hotel had a small fitness room and a pool. There was a big breakfast area and the breakfast options were eggs, sausage patties, cereal, yogurt, a few bread options (bread slices and muffins), waffle makers, a few fruit options (bananas, apples) and of course coffee and juices.

The room was clean (no cracks, no leaks, no peeling paint, etc). We were able to stay on the first floor around the corner from the breakfast area, the lobby, and the elevator.
The room was equipped with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and hair dryer. The A/C worked really well. The room had a small table with 2 chairs. The tub has a high step over to get into it, so beware of that. The shower had nice water pressure. The door to the hallway did drag across the carpet so it didn't close on its own, at least in our room.
We would recommend staying at this location if you are in the area.

The only incident we had, which I believe was an isolated incident, was on our 2nd evening.we had 2 big bangs on our door, which was very annoying and disruptive, and the front desk was informed.

Traveling to Kings Island this hotel was perfect. Breakfast from 7-10 Am. I normally take my family out for breakfast but this was worth it. My room was very clean and the staff were amazing. It’s so peaceful Let’s not forget about the fitness room or the pool. I’m extremely satisfied with my overall experience.

Please listen to the other reviews! We had the same mold in ceiling and subpar cleaned room. Will never stay here again. They really need to spray for ants. I don’t know if anyone else had this issue but our room did. Just seemed a a room that was poorly remodeled and just blah. This is an honest review. And in case the hotel responds saying there’s no record of my stay, my name wasn’t on the reservation.

The hotel needs renovation, the bed was comfortable but the bathtub was not very clean and the carpets and furniture were worn. The guy at the reception very friendly.

I was greeted in such a great, professional and polite way, nice clean room, very quiet, restaurants and shopping very close by, overall I couldn't have been more satisfied! It was just a quick decision to stay the night near Kings Island, I definitely will be back.
The only disappointment was the pool wasn't open, I hope in the future that it is.

I have a video of ants all over night stand and bed. Had to travel home in the middle of the night

Breakfast=drinks, eggs, sausage, breads, yogurt, waffles and fruit.
Room=clean, in good condition, well kept, quiet, safe location right off interstate. Fridge, micro, coffee maker and hair dryer in room. We stayed 1 night but it is a place I would stay for an extended stay and be satisfied. Peter was kind at check in.
