Comfort Suites East Broad at 270, Columbus OH

They were remodeling the lobby, while at the same time leaving the breakfast area exposed to the dust from all the construction going on. Not to mention that the workers, and staff were on the 1 and 2 floor. The housekeeping staff spoke no English. Our stay was abismal, and if I have to go back I won't be using that hotel.

The room is good, clean and organized. The service was terrible. The receptionist completely ignored me because I thought I paid online and he started treat me bad. Gave me the card and did not even said the directions or instructions about breakfast etc. I feel horrible been treat like that. The place is under construction so a little confused. And the signs by the road are not enough to see the entrance at night. Overall I would say 3

Nice welcome. Bit of construction with the new modern look. Room was nice and clean would stay again.

Their no cancellation policy is ridiculous. My event was postponed and I cancelled the room 2 weeks prior but it was changed my account and no one can override the no cancellation policy. Ridiculous! I will never go to a Comfort Suite Hotel.

This hotel is like a war zone. Active construction, even on a Saturday. The entire first floor looks like a war zone. We spent the first night dealing with crazy noise all night but we dealt with it because it was a Friday night. At 11: 30am on Saturday I went to take a shower and there was NO WATER at all. I called the front desk and the guy said that a pipe broke and the water will be off for a couple of hours (no doubt caused by the active demo that they're doing on a Saturday). I tried asking if there was anything that they can do to make this stay better for us and the next thing I know, the call went silent. I went to the front desk to find out what happened and received no explanation. There are a ton of better hotels for what this place charged us (~$140/night). Do yourself a favor and don't book here!

Do you like being overcharged? Do you like listening to construction while you're trying to sleep? Do you enjoy booking a room to relax and not being told there is construction going on and you will not be able to sleep? This place is for you! Did I mention how lumpy the pillows and beds are? A wet sock works better for a pillow than what is provided, but that's ok with all the noise you won't be sleeping anyway!

Very very nice rooms, carpet and pergo. Refrigerator, microwave, coffee, phone charging stations, desk, tub. Beds and so so comfy! Currently under construction so parking and general areas kinda messy but breakfast was great and ambiance is super nice. We enjoyed the pool very much with kids. Service was 10/10. Nice area too.

I paid for a couple of friends to spend the night there the night before memorial day. First of all they charged me $395 for the stupid room. My friends said that there was no hot water, the lights in the room did not work properly, and the free breakfast was not good at all. These friends are not complainers or picky. But when you charge me $400 stinking dollars per night and you don't give top level service you're a bad hotel.

I will never come and never recommend your hotel again.

I stayed there for business. I was given a newly renovated room. Like newly, newly! The room was so big and clean and the bed was so comfortable. I also got an amazing service at the front desk, that night. If an ever go back to the area, I'll stay there again, that's for sure.

Wife and I stayed there after a Columbus concert so naturally the price was higher than usual ($381.00) for a night but even at a normal rate, there are much better options with more amenities. The room was a nice size and seemed to be clean. A/C worked great but the bed was awful. The complimentary breakfast that comes with a $381 room is atrocious no matter what the room normally cost. I can’t put into words how bad the food is. It’s not often that one little meal can ruin an entire stay but this is the place that can pull it off. The wife got sick and I threw mine away after about 1/3 of it. Service was ok, not friendly and not rude. Just kind of doing the bare minimum and not speaking much. We had to park on the grass next to the fire hydrant because the lot is full of construction trailers. Definitely better options within a stones throw of this location so shop around.

We've traveled alot from east coast to west. We usually look for a Comfort Suites and we've always been pleased. This was by far the worst experience we've had. I've never been to a hotel where every employee we encountered was rude and completely uninterested in accommodating their guests. We travel to Columbus frequently and we will not be back to this hotel.
Room was fairly clean but dated. Location was good for what we wanted.
Standard breakfast. Nothing special.

Clean room housekeeping every day friendly staff location you have to work at it depends on which direction you are headed going out to enjoy the city

We stayed March 18-19.
The room itself was okay, there isn’t a lot of water pressure in the shower and it doesn’t get very hot. We also had a big crack in the sink.
There is no hot tub, as advertised. We had to walk to the front desk soaking wet to ask for towels after swimming because there were none available, and we only got the last 3 left for the 5 of us to share.
Breakfast is mediocre at best.
What really made this hotel disappointing is that they charged me twice for one night and I still haven’t had it resolved.

Front desk blonde lady is very ride and short when you have a question. We came to get some quiet time away from the kids just to deal with loud construction on the 3rd floor.even though we asked for a quiet area. We were not told or explained that construction was going on by the blonde hair, rude lady who checked us in. If she was having a bad day, she should have let the other young lady check us in. Breakfast was nice (buffet style).

Update 12/31/2022: Tried this place again, and the pictures are from out room 207. Terrible. I know it left my reading glasses on the counter in the room. So, we called to ask them to hold them. I was told nothing was found. Wow, were done here.

Overpriced for a comfort in. The guy at the desk was rude.
Holiday Inn across the street is $50 cheaper.
I will not be staying here again

This place needs to be UPDATED! The beds are covered so it’s not obvious it’s that it’s old.

Beds horribly itchy and walls and ceiling are PAPER THIN WTAF.room next door blasted some tv show at max volume and the dialogue was crisp clear.in the middle of the night the dude upstairs was trying to get his steps in or something for two hours pacing back and forth and it sounded like the ceiling would collapse with every agonizing stomp.slept for maybe 30 mins total
