Great stay. Lots of breakfast options, good coffee, was all around a great time. Clean pool and clean rooms. Can tell the employees care about the quality. Highly recommend. Was 3 adults, 5 children, and a toddler. We had conjoined rooms. Perfect place. Zero complaints!

Had an unexpected change of plans and booked the room an hour before I checked in. Rate of $80 on their app at the last minute was pleasantly surprising. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Overall it appeared the property is very well kept and maintained. Decor, carpeting and such seem aged but not worn out. Will definitely stay hear again if I find I need a room in the area.

Close to Kings Island. Room is spacious, especially the bathroom. Bed was not as comfortable as some other 3 star hotels I have stayed in.

Friendly staff. Very accommodating! The room was clean but it smelled a bit musty. We needed clean towels and they were very quick to give them to us. The location is close to kings island so we also liked that!

Close proximity to everything we needed. The only problem I had was that they didn't serve milk / was out of it. Otherwise they were great and rooms were clean.

If I could give this less than 1 star I would. I payed for a two night stay for me and the wife for kings island from 9-9-22 to 9-11-22. When we checked in the man seemed agitated that we were there and didn’t even give a smile during check in. After I checked us in around 4: 30pm for room 212, we took our bags to our room and left to do a little shopping for around 3 hours plus getting food. Around 830pm we decided to jump in the pool, it was bitterly cold and smelled like dirty mop water. I would imagine they hadn’t used any chemicals recently, and just the overall atmosphere in the pool area looked dingy and unkept. Me and the wife both rushed to our room, because we now smell like sour water. We go to take a shower and find there is black mold on the ceiling in the shower area, the toilet also didn’t look like it was cleaned very well. The wife decides to look up reviews herself and we seen there was a review with bed bugs, we check and no bed bugs, but I found a dried spot of blood under the comforter and there was hair on every pillow case. The headboard looked like something was sprayed all over it and we could see hand prints from the light shining on it. Everything was dusty, we decided to go complain to the front desk. The same guy that checked us in, wouldn’t verify our claims or even offer us another room. He told me it wasn’t possible the the pool water smelled sour, because they change the water every week. I asked him to verify what I was telling him and he refused. At that point we were tired and I was furious, so I told him we were checking out and that I needed a refund. He explained because we were there for 5 hours they had to charge for the night and I would be refunded the 2nd night in 3-5 business days. Today is 9-24-22, I haven’t been refunded, so I called them and was told they sent the refund and there must be a problem with the bank. I called my bank and they never received any information for a refund. So in my opinion I wouldn’t step foot in this establishment. We ended up going to a holiday inn a little bit further away and that place was amazing and was only a little more, so I would pick the Holiday Inn over this poorly ran establishment

The room carpet needed cleaning. The room had humid smell of mold. The bathroom was not fully clean. The cleaning staff was old like it was someone's parents in there 60 or 70's. When asked for more towels, they asked me to bring dirty towels to them to front desk instead of me putting them outside my room door. Customer service suck. When asked for another room, they told me the hotel was booked. The breakfast was trash. DO NOT STAY THERE.

Stayed in #219 for 4 nights stay with children September Thursday to Monday

Pros: the room smelled fine when we walked in and in perfect condition except one partial white wall that was not repainted brown was full of stains and spider webs.
Not one bug seen in our 4 night stay which relieves me.
Long countertop in bathroom was perfect for a family stay
The right amount of bath and hand towels for a family of 6
Clean bedding for the pull out sofa was all in the wardrobe. I didn’t even realize there would be a pull out sofa in the room so that was handy.
Amazing breakfast service

Cons: the room smelled musty after staying a night but also came to realize our room was directly above the pool
Walls were thin and Ac was quiet so easy to hear outside noises
Remote didn’t work to channel down, only up
Wifi had to be re-logged into often
Mini fridge freezer didn’t really worked and our ice cream bars melted
Room was a bit dark with poor lighting
My one load of laundry done here with the tide detergent you can purchase here came out stained. Thankfully most of those stains came out at home but not all.

Breakfast was THE BEST! The lady taking care of breakfast was super attentive with refilling, wiping and sweeping. Waffles, toast, bagels etc, yogurts, rotation of 3 fruits, sausage links and scrambled eggs, cereal, great hot coffee. All of us enjoyed every breakfast here.

Altogether I would definitely definitely come back here again for the price we paid. Maybe just not the room above the pool

The second floor smelled like mildew as soon as we got off the elevator. My room only had an light odor of mildew, so I decided to give it a chance. I'm allergic to mold, I was really sceptical but I'm here with my family who also have almost a whole floor occupied. Long story short I broke out in hives, itched all night, woke to the next morning and had the manager move me to another floor. Went to Kings Island came back, our new room had an ant infestation, ants everywhere. Manager told to me check out at 10pm, offered me a 20% discount for my troubles

The location is great, very close to the tennis center and water parks. But it is not really worth $250 per night. Room was clean but a bit outdated. Breakfast items selection is good but coffee.awful. Front desk staff polite.

The bathroom we had was not clean. I didn’t even want to stand in the shower without shoes. The room had a weird (not good) smell. The air conditioner unit would not stay on and the room would get hot. The bed was not comfortable. It was firm and you could feel the springs. The breakfast was average. Overall, I will not be coming back.

The rooms smell musty and moldy. I think the air conditioners filters need cleaned or replaced. Not good for someone who has asthma so be careful about that. The room was not cleaned well. They don't dust or wipe down the desk area. The shower has residue in it and not scrubbed or wiped down. I put s do not disturb sign on my door and the house keeping tried to walk right in.

The room smelled horrible, turns out there is mold on the second floor due to condensation we were told. We booked 20 rooms here all on the second floor. One group had to move to the first floor because the mold was so bad. There’s an ant infestation in some rooms and bed bugs. Front desk clerk was very rude when told the issues his guest were having. I believe this is an independently owned establishment, they are not following guidelines that choice hotels use in their establishments. My family and I will not be returning
