I definitely wouldn’t come to this agency for help with recovery. I have had several bad experiences with them. I have been a client at CAAA for several years. Last year I decided to take a trip to Vegas. I was sober and getting take homes so I didn’t see a problem. Alcohol came up in my system. I don’t drink. I demanded a breathalyzer and tried to fight it. Called the Director. She said there machines can detect how much alcohol was in my system and knew me for several years knew my background and knew I didn’t have a drinking problem. I haven’t used heroin for almost 20! Years. Apparently the Director of the program and the Doctor have had personality conflicts.
They have done nothing to help with my recovery. They have hurt me. The Director herself called me up herself and apologized saying the agency has failed me. Now 1 year later. That Director is gone and so is the Doctor. I lost my take homes and picked up marijuana. Grateful that’s all I picked up. You are just a number there. They will disrespect you and demoralize anyway they can.

I've been going to this place now for over 7 years. I go to a very nice Group on the Thursday mornings Called Man Up! We've also been on Retreats as a group. If you need to get off any kind of Drug. This is the place you need to go to as soon as you can. Sober& Clean-Steve Miller.

They treat their clients terrible! Their so-called doctors are a joke. There's one that's famous for screaming at clients/patients and another one that knows very little about some things I can't believe she's actually a doctor! No bedside manner at all. Just plain rude and uses her power like a sword. If you would like to be treated like you're in jail this place is for you!

Just like anything Good in life it usually doesn't come easy. So it is a process at first to get in maybe a week or 2 of appointments. Then depending on your tolerance you may have to build your dose up to become stable on the medication. It will happen you have to take the steps. It's saving lives regularly and helping me be more responsible as a person in all parts of my life. It gets to be routine and sometimes frustrating but you have to never forget where you came from or where your trying to get to. It's definitely a blessing to have places like this available and helping people. If your tired this place can help.

Since the Directors have changed, Doctors are better, Counselors are there for your recovery and to help you in anyway. Medical staff is very serious about helping you and your recovery the nurses are super nice and the nonsense is barely around anymore. Speedy service to get your medication too. Way better than it was 5 months ago! Thank you guys

This place SAVES THE LIVES OF MANY OPIATE ADDICTS EVERYDAY! I would probably be dead if it wasn't for CAAA. I 1000% recommend this clinic. It's hard to admit to yourself that you can't do it alone. I know but when you finally do and then get on some medicine you WILL quickly realize that M. A. T (Med Assistant Treatment) was & IS the best decision IF you truly want to get sober.

Saved my life beginning 14 years ago, don't be ashamed of your addiction or of being on methadone. I find AA to be the most judging people out there. For example, AA looks down upon people using a maintenance treatment.when these very same people are sopossed to be so loving and welcoming with open arms. Noone will judge you at CAAA. The also have completely renovated and cleaned the place up times a million. MR. Dave the security guars has retired, but security is more tight now. There are 2 doctors, one women, one man. You must commit to attending groups through CAAA and also meet with your counsler 1-4 times a month, depending on a variable of things. The best thing you can do is ask for help, slowly make a lifestyle change and begin your new life while staying sober! 14 years later and a whole new life, I will be forever grateful for this program. Pregnant mothers also accepted upon doctor referral from Metro (Dr. Bailit, high risk.)

Slow when they need to see you they just put you on stop regardless of what you have to do. They should warn you the day before and if you don't come put you on stop then. Some of us have jobs or kids or other doctor they need to try to treat us like adults not children.

This place can and will work if the person seeking treatment truly wants to get "clean". It only works if you want it. God bless and Good luck to all addicts. You can beat it. It is hard but, worth the fight!
