Community Health and Wellness Partners - Bellefontaine reviews
7My son has been seeing a psychiatrist (Shellenbarger) for years. Most times it's an assistant. All they want to do is up his medications. He was severely depressed and suicidal a week ago. He called in to talk to someone and they told him to go to the ER. Never a follow up call or anything to see how he was doing. He went to a place in Columbus for help. They tried contacting his psychiatrist and she never returned a phone call.
I'm new to the Bellefontaine area and attempted to set up counseling services here. I was DENIED services because I refused to switch my completely awesome primary care physician for one of their primary care physicians. This action right here does not harbour good mental health like they claim to offer. Seems kind of scammish if you ask me. Only willing to help if you put ALL of your healthcare needs into their hands.
I’ve had an altogether really great experience here~
They’re very great about pronouns. I appreciate their compassionate service.
Ivwas a patient from 2002-2019. I have a new primary care physician. When Community Health and Wellness Partners received a request for my medical records with the dates 2020-2022 they wrote a letter to my current physician saying we don't have any records, sorry. When I called them and asked them to reach out to my physician to rectify the mistake, i was told "We are not obligated to do that. " So I had to call my PCP office and they were more than happy to make the phone calls and send the faxes to rectify the situation. Now, it's been a few years since I've done administration work but if I received a records request for a patient of 15+ years, but the dates didn't match, I would have made a phone call, then and there, to see what records were needed. Instead, they wrote a letter saying they didn't have the records. Writing that letter took more effort than picking up the phone, and it made the situation more complicated. Thay request was made 2 weeks ago, I needed these records today. This is why I left this practice. Bellefontaine culture strikes again. Rude, unhelpful and unwilling to take accountability. HealthCARE? There was no care given in this situation.
I love that I can always get into see a doctor or a NP when I call in. The staff is wonderful!
They have been exceedingly exceptional so far. They have helped in 1 visit more than anyone else I've seen so far.
I'm thankful to hickory medical for referring me.
I would not recommend Community Health Center for a number of reasons. Most recently, in effort to understand the debilitating illness/pain going on there have been a number of tests performed so we could get a proper diagnosis and treatment plan going. There has been a lackadaisical approach as we were told we would have results the following day. We called for the results and she confirmed they were in but would need a doctor to call right away and no call was received. We had to call again the next day near the close of business because still no call received. We were advised the doctor was out of the office but it would be an urgent priority for her to complete the next day. Again, we had to call near the close of business because no call was received. We were then advised that we still would need the doctor to call us and clarify because they aren’t seeing the right results. Their inactions and negligence are resulting in prolonged pain and suffering
As we cannot get the care and treatment that is necessary to heal and recover. I hope this helps someone!
