Better service anywhere else
My hygienist was amazing and my teeth feel amazing. I think her name was Jodi. Whole office was friendly! I will definitely be back
They got me in sooner then what I was scheduled. Very good customer service. Explained everything and hoping for positive results. Thank you, Donna Riley
The Martin Ferry Staff are very nice. The only thing is I wasn't able to go back with my 12 yr old because rooms are to small.
Thank you Dr Shoaf and team who took care of me today.tooth extraction and cavity fillings went very well.
Good staff excellent work
Just a slow process getting dentures absolutely refer anyone
Worst density in the whole wide world they are the dumbest people I have ever met in my life this place wasted to much of my time I will never come back
Was there for removal of my teeth due to meds.that made them bad.they were very kind to me making sure I was comfortable while working on me I would tell anyone looking for a dentist to go there.
Absolutely LOVE Jodi, Gwen and the rest of the front office ladies. Super friendly and thorough. Only place we will go.
My 9 yr old daughter came to have a filling placed. She expressed she wasn’t numb enough. The dentist persisted, ignoring her, stating she was numb. He began the process putting her in pin and creating a bad experience for my child. After she expressed she wasn’t numb enough again he then finally numbed her properly. Then, while performing the procedure the Dr.leaves the room in the middle of the process to check out dentures, leaving her sitting there. She was accompanied by my mother who was left to stand for 45 minutes, while listening to the staff drama and chaos. My child was traumatized.
I’ve heard a lot of bad things about this place, but we always have given the benefit of the doubt. We will not be returning.
THIS review is going to be based on my experiences with CDC in 2018/2019 when they performed MULTIPLE root canals on me. There was so much wrong with these visits.first long wait times, thinking about sitting in that waiting room is nightmare fuel for me. 30-45 mins after your appt time is when you were seen. Anyway, the root canal process is NOT fun, even when done perfectly…so when it’s not done properly, it’s VERY unpleasant. The girl who worked on me began to drill on the WRONG tooth! She stopped and had to get the paperwork that showed which number tooth she was supposed to be working on. Also, they did all these root canals in about two appointments. Like 5 on the first appointment, then 3-4 on the second. All these “necessary” root canals were not posted, not secured…DOOMED to fail. My story about multiple (miserable) root canal failures is not a ONE-OFF. I’ve heard so many locals have this same story. I believe CDC is to blame for all the GUMMY BEARS in the Ohio Valley! You think I’m exaggerating? I wish! I really hope that CDC dentists did not do these root canals unnecessarily, not secure the remainder of the tooth, so it would (in a short time) crumble and fail. That way they could charge for the expensive root c’s and again charge for the inevitable extraction of the rest of what shards were left of your teeth! I went through so much PAIN, EMBARRASSMENT, and TRAUMA from the failure of my teeth. It wasn’t like I had major problems before (besides a few fillings and an extraction) …it has been such a terrible journey. I miss my original teeth. I miss my smile. When I had to have the remainder of my teeth surgically removed, I cried. Not from pain, but from the loss. I went as far as trying to take legal action against Complete Dental. When I talked with the receptionist, she said the dentist from 2019 is not there any longer. She actually empathized with me and said my story is a common one amongst past patients. Unfortunately, my lawyer said it is very hard to prove malicious malpractice on the dentist because we would have to prove that the he believed I did NOT need these procedures, but proceeded anyway. So…Fast-forward to today. I need a permanent denture now. I still live in the Valley. There are no openings for months at other Medicaid-friendly DDS’s. So I’m giving CDC one more shot. They can’t hurt my teeth anymore, because they’re gone! If the experience is positive, I will absolutely update this review. I really hope it has gotten better there. Yes, I’m on Medicaid. I am a single mom of two children and even with a full time job, I still can’t make ends meet. Half the Valley is probably on welfare…the economy is so egregious here.but just because we are on Medicaid, doesn’t mean we don’t deserve good medical care. It shouldn’t be a place of unnecessary trauma! Ok, well appt is December 4th. I’ll be updating the review then
I have occurances where I had to consistently come back in what felt as tho week after week & I’ve now had to get the fillings & permanents redone that I had done there. A fair amount of money for dental work that’s crumbling apart fast. The dental hygienist & some of the staff are actually good & considerate.
