Cortland Healthcare Center reviews
8That place made me feel like I was home I would never go anywhere else, the people that work there are fantastic at what they do, they go out of there to make someone feel more comfortable.
The staff is awesome. They are very caring and thoughtful. They took excellent care of my mother. And exceeded my expectations.
Beautiful facility-staff is friendly and helpful and you can see they care about their residents.
The nursing home has a wonderful staff. My grandpa was in this facility in the rehab side and they took great care of him. They were very patient with him. My family was very satisfied.
My mother's clothes always come up missing even though her initials are on them. The director is short tempered when you confront him about promises he made that he didn't fulfill. Very short handed on staff. Your concerns are over looked. My mother's hand had a nasty bruise on it and when I asked the nurses what happened they didn't even notice it. Then told me her hand would be xrayed the next day it finally got xrayed almost 10 days later. I complained about her hair not being washed and greasy and took pictures on multiple occasions and they kept telling me she was getting showers 3 times a week and I said then their not washing her hair. Brought it up to the director and he did nothing about it. Finally I contacted senior protective services and I'm waiting for the complaint to be investigated and completed. Worst nursing home ever!
The facility is extremely clean. The staff is very friendly. Teamwork is up most important. You always see staff interacting with the residents as the walk around. They are always checking on residents.
Cortland Healthcare Center is a great place! Staff is always friendly and welcoming. Very clean facility. I had a great experience here with my Grandma.
After receiving a phone call my son fell out of bed, being lied to, having the entire situation downplayed since earlier in the day when I knew something was wrong begging for a doctor only to be passified and talked down to, an hour later when I finally called 911 to get an ambulance did they finally call. My son was admitted in the icu for an extreme uti. They hadn't checked his catheter in days. It became backed up. He's now incoherent and don't know what's going on or who he is half the time because the infection was so bad. They knew more than 18hrs how sick my son was getting and worse by the hr and all they had for an answer was they were waiting to hear back from the doctor. I was hung up on and repeatedly lied to having this entire ordeal downplayed. You people should be ashamed of yourselves. He was also extremely dehydrated because he can't use his hands after being left quadriplegic by a drunk driver and you couldn't even go in to make sure he had water regularly. You asked for these jobs. He didn't ask to be there. You're so use to not taking care of the older patients and them not having someone or the ability to speak for themselves. SHAME ON YOY! How dare you do this to my son!
