Cortland Mower Sales

Bought a new Toro single stage 4stroke 18 inch 12/22/22. Hurry in before he runs out and it's too late. Man that was a fast in and out. He only had about 10 left total. Even the new Battery powered which he uses at his shop. (4 years and counting) thank you Sam and staff.

Dropped off my mower deck for repair, couple of spindle issues. They could have charged me to replace two spindles, instead they just replaced what was broken. They didn’t over charge and where honest. Really appreciate that. They will get all my future business. Good people.

We moved to the area from Western New York and alas, we couldn't fit our old mower into the moving truck. (I am SO disappointed! NOT!)

I had done all my research and already had a new mower picked out at one of the big box stores. My wife, on her own accord, stopped into Cortland Mower just to see what they had to offer and how the prices compared.

Much to our surprise, Cortland Mower offered the SAME EXACT mowers available at the big box store at the SAME EXACT price. All about supporting, small businesses, that is all the reason we needed to give Cortland Mower our business.

My wife and I went in a few days later with our heart set on a particular model of Cub Cadet self-propelled push mower. The staff actually convinced us that despite the Cub Cadet having more horsepower, it was a front-wheeled drive transmission. Ok? So? "Just try pushing it around the store, " he said. We quickly got the point. With all the extra hardware at the front end of the mower, it made it front-heavy, and pivoting the mower on the back wheels just a little harder.

Instead, he showed us a less expensive, rear-wheeled drive Toro motor that made a world of difference. With all the weight on the rear axle, it made pivoting and turning effortless. Who knew!? Certainly no one at the big box store. That's what first-hand knowledge and personalized service gets you.

As we made our purchase, Cortland Mower kept on giving us MORE reasons that we made the right decision to buy from them:

- They would assemble, prepare and test our new push mower for us before we'd pick it up.

- They were prepared to deliver our mower to the house if we didn't have the means to pick it up.

- They loaded us up with a lot of nice swag. I LOVE my coffee mug!

- They gave us courteous service with a smile!

All that AFTER the purchase! It definitely reaffirmed that we made the right choice in buying from Cortland Mower. So should you!

Bought my lawn and garden equipment there for the last 15 years. They treat you well and are as fair as you can find auyehere.

Excellent prices compared to big box. They know what they are selling you. I was able to buy over the phone (covid-19). Delivered on time, showed me how to use. And they have great winter tune up program.

Small town shop, great customer service and will take care of you. I won't go anywhere else, whether for lawn maintenance, snow blowers or chainsaws. Just all around great place.

Great experience. Sam my salesperson was great. Worked hard to get the mower with the accessories I needed in a timely fashion. Bought my last mower at a box store and I was left on a Island with my first problem, never again. I heard good things about this place and they didn't disappoint. They even dropped it off at my house and went over the mower one more time. I'll be back to buy a snow blower.

As always they have the parts I need and the staff is always knowledgable and pleasant to deal with.
