Country Hearth Center, Toledo OH

Hey yo!
I purchased a gas log fireplace to go into my existing fire place. They only needed a few home measurements of my fireplace to be able to show me which logs i could purchase. Unfortunately I purchased in their busiest time of year so install was 2 months out. But that was ok, it hasn't gotten to cold. The install team is great Dave and his wife were pleasant the whole time, communicating all they were doing and with normal basic conversations throughout! The Install itself took about two hours of course my house is a bit older and may have caused some of the extra time. But nonetheless they got her done!

Called Country Hearth for a service call to come check out our gas fireplace that stopped working. They were able to come over the very next day (granted we live pretty close, I know this may not be typical but we were SO appreciative!). Dave called before they headed our way and were very prompt. Very nice people, diagnosed the problem and fixed it at the same time. We are very thankful to have a functioning fireplace again before the cold weather comes back. 10/10 recommend:) Thanks again!

I can't imagine a more important week for a fireplace store to be open than between Christmas and New Years, yet these idiots managed to be closed and NOT post that status to maps. We didn't even call, as the idea of them being closed was beyond the pale. Let's see, biggest week of the year when all close family is in town and gathered around the roaring fireplace and. OOPS! No parts from this dump. Thankfully "Blue Flame" on Sylvania had our needed proprietary thread thermocouple. Please don't tell me about "vacation" - hire a competent person to cover. My sense is that this somewhat disheveled looking place is owned by someone very senior, and they probably should just CLOSE UP or sell the place rather than continue to treat it as a casual hobby affair that ends up being a disservice to prospective customers.

Fixed my gas logs while I waited and only charged me $10. They were the only repair shop I could get to discuss my issue and make a simple recommendation

I was so pleased to find a gas fireplace service center that serviced extreme NW Ohio.
I was planning on buying a new gas insert as our 19 year old Heat & Glo had mutiple issues. After talking with Dave on the phone, he told me that my insert was serviceable. Scheduled an appointment through Debbie. I was already impressed with the friendly knowledgeable staff.
Rob phoned & arrived 30 minutes early for my service call. Rob was an insert expert! He diagnosed multiple issues & had the skill to address & fix every one of the issues on just one service call. Rob was meticulous with a pleasant, professional personality.
If needed, I would definitely use Country Hearth services again. Hands down best customer service! Thank you!

I have worked with the country hearth since 1981, have bought 4 fireplace units, and out door grills from them. Always great service, advice, installation. Not to mention great personal service.
Just bought ventless gas log set and love them. For my new home. I won't go anywhere else for my fireplace needs or advice.

The older guy, maybe the owner was knowledgeable. He was just rude and not very personable; had the know it all personality. Was hard to feel comfortable to make a large purchase.

Highly recommended. Better prices and better customer service than their competitors around the corner. I purchased a gas log set for my fireplace. Tim opened the box and did all the remote pre-wiring for me. All I had to do was hook up the gas line and install. Made my Christmas day much easier.

I would go to Country Hearth again for all our fireplace needs. They were so helpful! The gentleman was fantastic in helping us! We drove from Findlay. The gal on the phone was tremendous in helping us all! Thank you all there ar Country Hearth in Toledo! Their fireplaces items are beautiful also! God bless!
