Sitting in a prime location right on interstate 71, Country Kitchen is a greasy-spoon diner with sweet waitresses who will take great care of you & remember you next time you're in. It feels right out of the 1960s or 70s. Their menu is good-old home cooking with breakfast options all day & daily specials like pork loin, whitefish, chicken & dumplings, & pot roast. All of it tastes just like Mom's back there cooking it. You MUST try the peanut butter pie, that alone is enough to bring you back! No corporate or chain ANYthing here; highly recommended!

Ordered fish, fries and mac n cheese. The fish was 3 pieces of fish sticks (real fish), fries (kids portion) and a super small side of mac n cheese. The fish was so SALTY. I ate one fish stick and vomited. The fries were ok, just maybe abt 15 fries (if that) and the mac n cheese was possible. I regret not taking a pic. It was basically a kids meal for $9.99. I was too tired to go back in and complain. I ended up throwing it out cause the fish made new sick.

The food is delicious home cooked feel. Would be 5, but the vegetable soup, which my mom used to really enjoy, seems to have been changed and made with chicken stock. She is a vegetarian and liked the soup, but won't eat it if it has chicken or beef stock as a base.

Nothing special to us poor waitress and alright food. Best thing there was when waitress dumped a whole plate of food in guy's lap seated across from us. Entertainment was hilarious

Great food (killer vegetable beef soup) good service in a tired building. Will go there again when I pass by.

We had a really good experience. The food was good and the staff was nice. We will definitely be going back after or next train ride. It's nice that they are open later than most other places in that area.

Damn good food. Eat here everytime I pass thru. Rare cooked sirloin sided with scrambled eggs, wheat toast, & grits. Oh, & coffee!

Stopped on the way home from Cincy to grab breakfast. Food was hot and delicious! Our Waitress was very sweet and tended to all our needs. Kept the coffee warm and the water filled. Will stop again if ever down that way.

We had a great breakfast and warm service from the staff! Easy to see why it is one of the most popular places to eat in the area!

Smothered Chicken, baked apples, cottage cheese, tomato slices, great service. I felt so good about spending my money and dinner time here.

Food is good. Service could be better. Small diner. It was busy while we were there. Prices reasonable.

I Love This Place! Great home cooked style food, and the best staff. My Waitress Rhonda is always so sweet and knows my order, I been coming here for over 11 years. Always leave Full and Happy! Thank You, Moooooooooo!

Looked nice but boy don't order the chicken and dumplings they are in a can and taste horrible one dumpling was hard as a rock the food came out in like 5 minutes.

Was having to Park at. Adjoining Truck Stop so thought I would give this place a try. Have to say it was a pleasure. Good Food. Good Service. It's a shame there's not more of these types of Restaurants around the. Mega Chain Truck Stops Will definitely be back again when in area

Always nice to get southern hospitality along side an amazing plate of food. Waitresses are always kind and the service is always fast.

Service sucks. Came in was told we just seat yourself at a clean table. Waited 4minutes into waiting another couple seated themselfs at the table next to us they get waited on right away the girl walked right past us to get to them so we sat there another 2 minutes and nothing. Wow all i can say with all the staff there. So we just got up and left.

We were on the way home from a road trip when one of our best friends started talking about this place and suggested we go here for dinner. It is a small family style diner with friendly staff. I ordered the cod dinner with macaroni and cheese, and green beans. The food arrived much faster than I expected. It was delicious. The cod was perfectly white and flaky, and the macaroni and cheese was baked, not the cheap kind. I cleaned my plate. I love classic homestyle food, and this restaurant hits the nail directly on the head. It was my first visit, but it definitely won’t be my last.

Food was great. They were seriously under staffed but once more workers showed up they took care of everything and everyone quickly.

Really amazing double decker cheeseburgers and the best homemade Cole Slaw! All you can eat fish on Friday nights!
