7We moved here a month ago and we have been staying here. They have the friendliest staff and very clean rooms. I recommend anyone to stay here. Very good experience.
I have stayed here many times and always had an enjoyable time for the most part. It was actually a very cozy and comfortable place until the last time I stayed the night shift desk clerk was extremely rude and unwelcoming. Other than her all the employees were very kind and helpful. I have not went back since the run in with the insulting rude clerk.
I’ve been coming to this hotel for years, so it was a surprise for me to walk in and get treated so terribly by the blonde lady at the desk. DO NOT BOOK HERE, there are better places that treat you with value not as if you’re a PROBLEM!
Old bedsheets and flat pillows. Musty smell. We were in town for a wedding. Perfect location to reception and wedding.
First of all, I NEVER write reviews, but this experience was ridiculous. When asked if I was traveling alone, I said, no, I have my service dog. The woman behind the counter told me there would be a $10 fee, I politely told her that since my dog is a service animal, she is exempt from the fee. The employee got on the phone and I was promptly asked to provide proof of my dogs service animal status. I know my rights and I informed the woman that I did not need to do that, and what they are doing is illegal, she was apologetic but didn't waver. I attempted to give a local motel much needed business but instead they get this scathing review and and incoming lawsuit. That being said I do NOT blame the woman behind the counter, she was helpful and polite. However, the owners of the motel need to understand (potential) customer rights and the Ohio laws if they plan to continue running a business. The Super 8 down the street is a significantly better option.
I wish I could give them a 0 star, my room was covered in black mold and they threw a tantrum when they had to clean it. They are very rude and have no common sense, health department needs to visit them.
