Stayed here for Columbus marathon weekend. Room was fine but a bit outdated. Location was great for race. Valet was $35/night which we used. Upon leaving today, texted for valet and came downstairs. Valet more than unhelpful and told us to go to lot ourselves. I was hauling multiple bags, suitcase and a small child. I looked at him and said “I thought the point of a valet was so the car was brought to you. ” Our car was three blocks away due to race course/closures. Totally understandable but this was not explained to us at all. My husband had to call to see where our car was after we searched two different lots. Very disappointed to not even be told where our car was and that we paid so much for a very unhelpful service.

It was ok. Overall the hotel is in a great location, but it definitely noticeable that it is in an old building. All of that is fine, except it just didn’t fee up to Mariott quality.

The lobby was small and very awkward to get to elevator with your bags. Upon arrival, we requested some additional towels and they never arrived but were marked as a completed task on the app. This happened two times during our stay. There is a bistro downstairs but no free coffee station and the water station was always empty when we walked by.

Rooms are a bit on the small but serviceable. We did have an outlet that sparked every time something was plugged into it and the wall out let’s below the light were very loose for a phone charger and as a result my phone did not charge one night.

Upon, checkout I was told I was checked out and would receive an email. But, upon looking at the Bonvoy app, i was never checked out after my interaction in the lobby.

They overbooked, so when we got there, they downgraded our room from a king suite to a double. Also, the front desk staff was extremely rude, like I've never experienced before. It was super upsetting and it ruined my evening.

The room was great! Fridge Thermastat by the bed and streaming platforms on tv the microwave is in the lobby not in the rooms, have a pool and hot tub although the hot tub is more like a lukewarm bath with jets

The.rooms are fine. The floor plans are a little odd, as every room seems to require navigating a few steps. Our room requires us to go down 2 steps to get to the bathroom. There is a motion sensor that provides light on the steps. That's very helpful in the dark.

I wish that Marriott brands were more consistent. This Courtyard is NOT one of the nicer Courtyards. Our room was clean but had a strange odor. The bathroom was a small sink in the bedroom and a tub/toilet in another small room. No make up mirror and an insufficient light.
Also, if a hotel agrees to distribute hospitality bags, then do it. We had to specifically ask for our bag and the person at the desk looked at me like she had no idea what I was taking about when I requested the bag.
The hotel has valet parking only but I had to search the lobby for a valet.
I would not recommend this hotel. More importantly, I feel that Marriott should ensure basic standards across brands.

Best part about our stay was our dealings with Ricky (Rick). He was the best and went above and beyond. My only complaint is that there is stairs you have to go up to get upto the elevators. Go see Rick he's the best!

Inconvenient that it’s only valet parking, but otherwise the service was great. Had an issue with no towels, and it was resolved right away.

No where to park without paying, bathtub had a crack in bottom, food in the cafe expensive and drinks are pricey.

Beware their awful cancellation policy. I booked a room at this hotel back in March 2023 for a concert. The concert was canceled two weeks before it was supposed to take place. I called the hotel and they said I couldn't get ANY of my money back. They said it was because I prepaid when I booked the room. They weren't willing to budge at all, wouldn't give me even a partial refund. I will never stay at another Marriott hotel. This is no way to do business.

Hot tub was closed and that was the one and only thing that determined which hotel we stayed at.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. Our only problem was the lack of parking, whether you parked yourself or used valet, it was $35 for overnight parking.

The staff was excellent and made the experience great! The rooms were ok, but the history of the place is what I loved the most!

Older hotel. You can tell the rooms are older and have been updated. The room was clean though. The service was amazing. Wanted to check in early was told we would have to wait 40 minutes BUT it turned out it was only 20 minutes. They helped us bring all of our luggage up to the room. It's close to the convention center. Pool is definitely older and has seen better days.

The Good:
Close in location to COSI and Nationwide Center. The pool setting was nice and the family enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

The Bad:
Though it is valet, go ahead and add an extra $35 for overnight parking. My CC shows I was charged $40, so I guess don't tip cash because they'll add the tip themselves. Hotel offers no free parking.

No comp breakfast or pay buffet. You can pay $11.50 for avocado on a piece toast, and a boiled egg, and $4.50 for a 20oz diet soft drink, but I don't recommend.

Ice dispenser was down on our floor (2nd) but was available on the other floors.

We paid $180+ for a single room with 2 double beds, not 2 queen beds. Room was underwhelming for the price. Bathroom had a non operating exhaust, so I don't recommend a steamy shower. 2 ply toilet paper like you would find at a construction site portable restroom.

Feeling ripped off to be completely honest.

Downtown, nice stay.
Easy to walk to locations downtown.
Valet parking.
Elevator access is awkward, but doable.just an extra lift.
Rooms were comfortable!

Rooms were kind of worn out. Clearly an older hotel that has been refreshed. Room layout was very strange. No ice on the 2nd floor where I stayed but oddly a sign for it and a spot where it was clearly ripped out of the wall. Ok stay. No real complaints but there’s likely nicer options nearby.

The rooms are spacious and well accommodated, but the only way to get a stroller or baggage cart (or a wheelchair of course) beyond the entrance is to use the wheelchair access elevator, which isn’t very large. They also don’t have parking besides valet, so plan ahead or plan to pay extra!

The room was clean, quiet (the air conditioning unit was even quiet). The location was not exactly great to Historic Crew Stadium but centrally located to get around Columbus.
