Cracker Barrel Old Country Store reviews
21I love this chain. I used to live in the South. Food is always excellent. Lots of parking with a very friendly staff that is always efficient. The gift shop is fantastic. I go as often as I can.
Had an extremely bad experience at this location. I sent an email and called. The general manager was suppose to call me back. Never did. Shows how much they value their customers. I will never go there again.
Had country boy breakfast and was eating gravy n biscuits and long blond hair was in gravy so disgusting and waitress was rude asked for table close to entrance due to I'm disabled from a car accident hard to walk far she said ok and took us to table on other side restaurant when there was plenty empty tables and booths we passed
Poor management. Probably the most inconsistent Cracker Barrel in the country. Depends on what day you go and who is in the kitchen. Some days they still make things, the next day they'll tell you they don't. Also if they tell you a time for waiting make sure you double it. They can't seem to get that right either.
My wife and I went in to eat. Sat down at a table had to ask for water. Food came to the table had to ask once again for napkins and silverware. Will never eat there again Husband got Roast Beef nothing but fat.
Love the atmosphere here. Always so welcoming! Friendly staff.great food, and an awesome gift shop with all sorts of neat stuff.
Roast beef was horrible more fat then meat…. The hash brown casserole was more onion then potato the carrots were good the broccoli might have been to if I actually received it. Garbage experience all around
Cracker Barrel typically has good food and a menu you can count on. This location is no exception. We were seated immediately and then waited and waited and waited and waited for a server to take our orders. While the meal was prepared rather quickly and enjoyable our server vanished. She was no where to be found even after other servers attempted to find her. We lost too much time waiting on an employee who was not doing her job.
Just plopped my hashbrown casserole in my chicken and dumpling plate and it was all mixed in and floating in the gravy asked them to make it again and have them separate because I don't like my hashbrowns soaking wet and floating around in my other dish they have never had them together like that and I get this meal all the time it's my favorite.they brought them back separate but then my chicken and dumplings had no gravy to it at all it was so dry and there wasn't a full plate of it like there was before I sent it back.my daughter's chicken strips were wayyy overcooked they were as hard as rocks she couldn't even eat them.we loved going here but I don't know now
My daughter and I were on a long trip and took my granddaughters to cracker barrel for dinner at our halfway point. We had a good dinner. Refreshing beverages. The week staff were courteous and friendly and very helpful. We had a good time and my granddaughters enjoyed the store. They may have got some souvenirs while they were there.
Curb-side service worked great and food was perfect:
I ordered on-line. There were two pick-up parking spaces, and I called the number on the sign. It was a short wait before my food was brought out.
Food was nice and hot and all the silverware and jelly and butters for the biscuits/cornbread were included. Very happy with everything!
Love, love the chicken and dumplings! Green beans with the hint of bacon like my mother used to make. My dad enjoyed the meatloaf.
Who has not eaten at a CB? Come on, it is an American Icon; considered Americana.
They have the food that will calm the beast. We appreciate CB for their food. But most of all for their parking lot. Yes! I said, their parking lot.
As FT (FullTime) RVers in a Class A towing a vehicle, it is indispensable to have a way in and a way out. CB has designated RV Parking! YAY!
Of course, except when the self-center, maggot idiots of the many particular cities we visit, decide to take up the designated spaces for RVs and truck with trailers and park there. There is so much parking spaces for regular cars. Anyway, I'm getting off track!
CB is the place to go. Thank you CB for your service. You received 5 stars!
TORTUGA GRANDE REPORTING!
Our waitress Courtney was delightful. We had less than an hour to get in and out as we were travelling on military orders and not only did she accomplish that, we had time to spare and enjoy our food. I probably won't ever travel through there again, but I'd make it a point to go back if I did.
Great food try the biscuits with some honey they are great this way.so sweet and yummy I always take a couple of biscuits home with me and eat them for breakfast with with honey and they will at Cracker barrel give you a bear of honey if you ask for honey for your biscuits when ordering. Yum.
Their sawmill gravy is very bland. Biscuits weren't too bad. Sausage was overdone. Overall I will probably not order that breakfast again.
Food was horrible. Got
Turkey dinners
Turkey was tough. Gravy was water dressing hard and dry. Out of sweet potato casserole but still charged us for it. Biscuits were cold and hard. The lady that checked me out asked how it was and I told her not good and she said ok have a good day! I guess they are used to people telling them their food is terrible!
Ate here just to take a break off the road. Great experience. Fully staffed with great employees, who were nice and attentive. Food was great which is always a plus! The only reason I am not giving this five stars is the water. I ordered a glass of water with my pop, it smelled like it had been dipped out of a fish tank. I dont know what was wrong with that part but they might want to check on getting a filtering system for their water. Other than that minor detail, the experience was great, and I would encourage you to take your family and go…just stick with the pop.
We stopped there for breakfast before we hit the road. The food was good. Everything seemed very clean and we'll maintained. I must compliment are waitress, Barbie. She was very friendly and seemed to enjoy her job. She was friendly with everyone she came in contact with.
We nust finished a 3 week road trip around the country, and when we saw a cracker barrel we lnew we were going to get great food. The catfish is awesome.
Worst experience ever! Waited in my car for over 20 min after my pick up time and this is what my food looks like! Never again!
