They used to be the best around. And I still think the doctors themselves are wonderful. But the front desk staff is so rude and condicending when you call! I think they got used to not having patients in the waiting room during the pandemic- you still cannot go in and wait. Instead you will sit in your car with it running for 30 minutes or more I've been coming here for years but will be finding somewhere else.

A great place to take care of all your pet's medical needs from simple check ups to serious issues. Treat pets and their humans with caring, compassion and respect. They have been our vets for almost 20 years. Wouldn't trust anyone else.

Dr. Bancroft is the best vet out there. He truly does pay attention to the animals he sees. All the techs are awesome and make our dog feel safe! We have met a few of the the other vets and they were also awesome! This is the only place we will take our dogs!

My sister takes her dog there.
And he's my best (and only) friend.
When he has an ailment the clinic has what he needs.

I have taken my dogs here for over 30 years. Unfortunately things have changed for the worse and I will be looking for a new clinic. The staff at the desk are so extremely rude and act like you are bothering them when you call. They are very disorganized. They still have a system where you aren’t allowed in the building so there are special cell phones to call. Don’t call the main number if you can’t get through because you will be scolded. Sad after all these years that it’s come to this. Maybe someone needs to point out to the staff that we are actually the reason they get a paycheck.

I called this morning to bring in my dog for an emergency visit. The staff was kind and professional, and their communication was excellent. There was a bit of a wait, but this was clearly communicated to me ahead of time and is to be expected with a squeeze-in visit. Dr. Tom even took me back to show me my dog’s x-rays when he was explaining the treatment plan. Top notch care. I so appreciate that they were able to see my sweet pup and ease my worried mind on such short notice.

Nothing is worse then when you have an appointment and have to wait 40 minutes before the doctor sees you!

0 is my real rating! We have used this clinic for 8 years. During the pandemic and continuing today, the office staff, as stated in many newer reviews, is as rude as they come! They don't care what you're calling about. You're bothering them no matter what. The worse part is we have no idea if they've even relayed our messages to the doctors. I know people have complained, but the doctors have done nothing about it. My dog has many issues so why would I give this place thousands of dollars to be treated this way? ! L The only vet that has ever called us back is Dr. Green. She always returned calls and answered all of our questions! I absolutely hated to leave her but I couldn't deal with the office staff! Please don't even bother asking for the supervisor. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, she is annoyed and rude! Had Dr. Green not called me back, I would not have received the answers or possible appointment for my dog. I don't think the supervisor should be responsible for saying yes or no to an emergency visit without checking with the doctor first! She's not a vet! As far as not being able to sit in the waiting room with your dog? COVID is not an excuse now. We can use masks. I don't think the office wants to hear or see clients they've been rude to! They have since cut the amount of emergency visits per day because they have 4 doctors working, per the office girl. I have heard from 2 doctors (not Dr. Green) that they are overworked and exhausted. I have since come to find out those and another doctor are the owners! Don tell me your sad story! They could change everything but it appears the almighty dollar comes before clients! They are short staffed with an awful office staff yet they are still taking new clients! Their establed clients are pushed aside. Can we talk about the phone system? Why in the world do they have 40 different numbers to call? The office girls sit right beside each! Please don't ask them to transfer you to another number! You will have "poked the bear". And the answer is No! Yet when it comes time to pay the bill, they have time to call you as you're leaving the parking lot, before you have even seen a bill as to what service they did! How about I give you another number to call my billing department and No, I can't transfer you! Surprise! 1990 called and wants their telephone system back! Bottom line is they do not care about the owners, just how much money they make! I have since taken my dogs to another vet which took the time to meet us and get to know our dogs! Please think twice before going to Crago's on West Blvd. Try a place where you are treated with kindness from all of their staff!

They need a new receptionist or multiple I’m not sure. It’s usually already stressful to be calling the vet considering something may be wrong with your pet but to have to call an office that is so rude and makes you feel like an inconvenience is not even worth the headache. I hope this is addressed so that Crago can uphold the reputation they had before. Don’t waste your time coming here, bring your pets health elsewhere.

Hard to get a regular appt anymore, but always have time to see your pet for $105 emergency fee. Vets don't seem to have time to call back anymore with test results. I still feel as though they have some of the best vets in the area, but just don't seem to have the time to give my pets the attention they deserve. It's up to me to look out for their best interests.

I wish i could give 5 stars, but the extremely rude girl who answers the phone prevents me from doing so. The four stars are because of the vets who are exceptional. Dr Scott is the absolute best and every doctor I have dealt with has been kind and compassionate which is the only reason I continue to take my three dogs there. Most of the staff is great as well, but the treatment I receive when calling the front desk is horrible. The girl answering the phone, I believe her name is Dana, is the rudest person i have ever had to speak with on the phone. She upset me so much with the rude and nasty way she spoke to me when I was trying to check on my dog's prescription which hadn't been filled. She told me a doctor would call me and then hung up on me when I was trying to give her a contact number.
She would not help me or offer any assistance as to why my script hadn't been filled. I was so scared that we were going to run out of the medication. She is the reason I can't give a 5 star rating and I can't believe they let someone so rude and nasty deal with their clients.

The worst Vet! They want to mix up medical records on Multiple animals, and than argue as to which animal was seen. I left because of multiple issues with them! Will never go back!

I would give negative stars if I could. These girls behind the front desk are so rude and careless about you and your pet. You would think a vet would hire personable people to interact with their customers who enjoy being around animals. They have a constant attitude and act like you are the biggest inconvenience for bringing your pet in or calling to inquire about treatment. I got my dog neutered here and chose to come back when he had a bladder infection (both Horrific experiences due to the unfriendly, non caring staff). Now I simply called in about an ear infection to get an antibiotic, I was told they were putting a note into the doc and would get RIGHT back to me. 4 hours later I called back, simply stating that I haven't heard back yet, and got scolded at saying it takes 24 hours to get back with this request and they acted like I was insane for reaching back out. I was told if it was not an emergency, there's nothing they can do, I MIGHT hear back tomorrow. Okay.my dog will just suffer because you're too lazy to get a signature for ear drops. Save your self some money, cause this place sure as heck ain't cheap, and go somewhere you enjoy taking your pet and know they will be in good hands when you drop them off because they certainly are not here! Very disappointed, if you hate your job find a new one!

Go to the one on market street, they are much better and take every precaution to make sure your pet is taken care.

I called today to set up an appointment for both of my cats. It's been a while since we've been to Crago, probably since 2016-2017. I knew most likely we would have to return as new clients again since it's been a really long time. However, since they are established with my older cat and we had a good experience with them last time, I thought going back was the right choice. However, I was wrong. When I called the first time, the receptionist told me that they couldn't find us in the system and that we probably went to the one on Market Street. I thought perhaps I was confused and got the locations mixed up; however, after confirming with my family, this wasn't the case. I called back to inquire about this and another receptionist picked up and actually found the records for my older cat, however, was quite rude saying that I had spoke to someone before and was acting as if it was an inconvenience to talk to me. Explaining the situation nicely and calmly would have been much more preferred.

Please keep this in mind for future clients. I will now be taking my cats to Poland Veterinary Clinic, where they were so much nicer and receptive on the phone.
