Crispy Fish & Chicken, Trenton OH

This is only the 2nd time I have ordered from CF&C, and there has been something wrong with both orders. First order, a couple weeks ago, was missing salad dressing. Since I live 15 minutes from the store, I did not go back nor call to complain.it's only dressing. Second order today was for a garden salad, 12 party wings NAKED, with french fries. Wings and fries both had what appeared to be BBQ sauce all over them AND there were only 11 wings. Salad was fine BUT the dressing was not what I ordered. Called to complain and whoever answered the phone apologized saying it was his mistake, but made no offer to make any of it right.

I know how difficult the food service business is (I'm also in food service business) and mistakes will happen. The difference between great businesses and those that fail are how they handle those mistakes

While we like to "buy local", we will not be patronizing this establishment again.

We ordered catfish and butterflied shrimp. Both meals and service was spectacular! Love the father and son team.

The food is normally exceptional. However the last time I went some of it was just overcooked but they were extremely busy. I eat there all the time and the people are really amazing and the food is usually expectational!

Great food great service just awesome place to eat but make sure you eat it fresh don't take it home it's my the same

Fish.cod was frozen but this is Ohio. Cornmeal breading was flavorless, coleslaw was visually unappealing watery and taste of sugar, hush puppies were undercooked-doughy in the center. Chicken tenders were tough and flavorless.
I had always wanted to try this place and won't do that again.

My family and I moved to Trenton almost 2 years ago and never tried this place - and that’s our loss! We ate in yesterday and it was delicious. Highly recommend!

Not a fan of the grilled cheese. There cheese is like plastic and they barley cook the bread. They should just stick to fish and chicken because nothing else from there turns out right.

So many options to choose from is hard to only get one thing! Personally love their fish platter, catfish, hushpuppies, and the staff treat ya like family

Ordered a cod fish sandwich and it was not a fish sandwich just cod fish and hush puppies twice I ordered didn't get it right the first or the second time never ordering there again I'm cool I knew I should've went to Culver's

Heard really good things about this place so we gave it a try. We were kind of disappointed but maybe because we didn’t get what they are known for. I had a shrimp po boy and it was just average it had bbq sauce on it instead of remoulade sauce which threw me off. My wife had the chicken philly which was good it just hardly had any chicken on it. Service wasn’t great. I might give it another chance and order fish or chicken as the name states.

I asked for my salmon not crispy, or dry. Chef personally verified that he cooked it as requested. Thumbs up!

This was our first time eating there today. Saw people talking about it on Facebook so thought we’d give it a try. We had the cod with hush puppies and potato wedges. Food came out very hot but I thought a little over cooked. It was good but with the reviews I read I thought it would have been better. I thought having to add sides was a little pricey? It would be nice to have two sides included with your fish or chicken? Just a suggestion!
