Love them. If you want your family member to have the best care, look no further. I would give them 1 million stars if I could

They gave my aunt awesome loving care. I cant Imagine doing the work they do on a daily basis. Our family just wanted to say “Thank You” for the wonderful care. Our family appreciates you and the work you do!

They are horrible, horrible at communicating with the family, It was very nice at the beginning when Emily was the single contact. She always kept me posted on mom's prognosis. I received no update after Emily, though I asked for it; I relied completely on the nurses at the nursing home. Apparently, the hospice care takers were supposed to call the family after each visit, but it had not happened.
I scheduled a meeting with the care taker for today, which I was told that it would be at 10AM. It is 11: 38AM and I am still waiting. I called the office, the nurse coordinator said that my mom had been down graded from a 6-hour watch to a 12-hour watch; therefore, he would be coming at 1PM! I was, OF COURSE, not informed of the change! In addition, the nurse coordinator was angry at ME for pushing to know what their plans with my mom were for the next couple of days.
My mom had been on a drastic terminal decay track. I found it out by calling the office and also found out she had apparently been in that position for three days! We are currently scrambling to get all family members to her to say "good bye" from across the country. Isn't "keeping family informed" a critical part of a hospice agency's job?
I could go on with examples after examples. I do hope when you pick a hospice for your loved ones, do consider whether you will receive peace or frustration.
From my heart, I do hope you will not experience what I have gone through and is still suffering from, as I am still waiting for mom's care taker.p. S. Many stars for Emily and Holly.

As a home health aide I watched Crossroads Hospice do nothing to help my client. Gave him pain meds he needed but when he became septic from a uti they didn’t care. When he asked to go to the hospital they finally obliged and allowed him to go and after two weeks in the hospital they refused to take him back under palliative care.

I believe all this is unethical practices.

Now he can’t get the proper pain medication he NEEDS to have some semblance of a life.

Thanks for nothing Crossroads

It took me a long time to write this review. Excellent nurses and full service staff that come to your home. Bereavement care is excellent and they will follow up with phone calls and postal mail to make sure you’re doing OK. My father had awesome end stage life care, be warned at home hospice until the end is not for everyone talk with your social worker there is no shame.

Our family will always be eternally grateful for the loving hands at Crossroads. They were so caring and compassionate with not only our mother but with the four of us, (her children). We would not hesitate to call on them again in time of need and would definitely suggest everyone we know to seek out there care. If we could give them more than 5 stars that would be a definite.

Nice people and the building/grounds are nice. But, not enough staff for the number of residents.and the food is just so-so.
