Super nice technicians. Awesome knowledge of the product line. Answered all of my questions and didn't make me feel ignorant even though I was. Helpful and friendly. They have earned my future business.

Chase and John did a great job and took the time to explain the new system. Installation was quick and efficient and job site was left clean.

I will have to say Shaun was on time, very professional, and answered all of my questions. I did inform him that I was going to have two other estimates on the job that is needed. I will definitely let them know my final decision. Thank you Crown Heating for being responsive to my inquiry.

Had sign of a water leak coming from upstairs laundry room and called plumbing division at Crown (D& A Plumbing). I’m leaving this review to warn consumers of price gouging from this company. First, we were charged $100 for the service call itself. Then charged $126 per hour plus any parts needed for repairs. The technician also created 4 HUGE holes in walls to “find the leak”. After 2 1/2 hours he “couldn’t find a leak in drains or pipes. Weird, huh? ” He then spent over 30 minutes writing up a detailed bill… of NOT finding or FIXING the leak. I asked at that point, “am I being charged while you write? ” To which he replied, “Yes, sorry! ” At this point I am LIVID. I was charged a total of $579 dollars in labor for a job that didn’t even find or fix the problem. To add insult to injury, the managers now won’t answer my voicemails to ask about these billing practices. The technician was nice and polite but he essentially works for a company literally ripping off the local community with unfair pricing and poor customer service. Do better.

This was my first time using Crown or any HVAC company. Spencer came exactly on time to do regular heating and AC check /maintenance. He was very thorough, professional and responsive to questions. He found a pipe was not nailed down correctly and was probably allowing harmful gasses in the basement and he fixed it. Made another repair to keep my systems running smooothly. He was there for 2 hours and supplied a detailed list of all aspects of maintenance he performed, and I think it was a very fair price for all he did. The scheduler was also responsive, friendly and accommodating

Crown heating and cooling installed a hvac system in my house in 2020 and just 3 years later the gas lines they installed are leaking and they won't stand behind they're work because the warranty was only good for one year. The fire department told my wife the levels were lethal. I don't suggest this company to anyone. I was told on the phone this is normal and I would need to pay them to fix they're mistake.

If you simply need a hot surface ignitor that requires 2 screws and plugs in, DO NOT call these folks unless you are willing to pay an outrageous amount. I will take my business elsewhere next time I need any type of service.

Crown installed my furnace, ac, and some ductwork several years ago. I received quotes from several companies and Crown was very competitive in terms of pricing. They have done the yearly maintenance since then and are always professional, polite, on time, and never had a problem. And with the yearly maintenance package, if we ever do have a problem we jump toward the front of the line. Thank you Crown for your many years of wonderful service. I would highly recommend this company.

Bought a new furnace 2 years ago. Have had nonstop issues. Now with Temps below zero I have no heat and was told at midnight a technician would be out this morning, after I read codes to them and told them what part I needed. Noone showed, no phone call, now home office answers n hangs up, technician I spoke to at midnight won't answer and you can't leave a message. With my warranty and maintenance package I over paid for. Im thinking they aren't going to like me in the real near future. This is unfortunately not good business practice.

One star may be unfair, but is a result of poor customer service in response to a reasonable request after 30 years of excellent service. We purchased a new build 30 years ago with a Crown supplied HVAC system. Within five years, the heat pump needed replaced, then ten years after that both the heat pump and backup gas furnace needed replaced. All work and materials supplied by Crown, plus we have paid for and used the twice-yearly inspection service for the last 30 years. We’re selling the house, building a new place. The simple request of buying only one more inspection service call (we’ll be moved in another two months) was met with a resounding, “No. Gotta buy the whole year or nothing! ” No thought to our 30 years as a customer, and thousands of dollars spent.
Funny, the new house has a furnace too and I am a big believer in preventative service. Guess I will shop around.

Our furnace was working intermittently. Called Crown. They came out three times during the same week. The furnace was working the first time so he did routine checkup and said everything was fine. Two days later the furnace was off. Crown came back a second time and said it needed a new gas value ($781 repair.) Repair made. The furnace went off later that night. He came back the next day (third visit) and found a lose wire to the pressure switch. He tightened the wire and the furnace has been working fine since then. All of that said, I am sure the furnace did NOT need a new gas valve and that is was the lose wire all along (which supports the intermittent problem.) While I'm happy the problem is solved, I am disappointed that an unnecessary repair was made and it cost me an extra $800.

PRICE GOUGERS

Had CROWN HEATING and COOLING come to my house to repair my LENNOX air conditioning unit. Their charge to come to house was $99.00. The technician determined coolant was low and he added 2lbs of F410A coolant and was charged $260.62 for the coolant. Technician then quoted me $131.00 to come back and do a level 2 electronic leak test and I agreed to have the test done.
When technician came back to perform leak test he went directly to the evaporator coil and found the leak. Prior to having the leak test done I did some research and found that LENNOX had a problem with their evaporator coils. The technician informed me that the coil needed to be replaced and since my unit was installed 8-2017 it was still under warranty for parts only under LENNOX warranty. Based on my prior research I knew the $1128.00 quoted by technician was outrageous and I declined the quote to install a new coil (quote did not include any F410A that would be required)
To get warranty work performed an authorized LENNOX must perform repairs. I solicited quotes from several authorized dealers and all quotes were much lower than CROWN HEATING and COOLING.
Had the repair done by an authorized LENNOX dealer and was very pleased. They did an excellent repair and at a reasonable price and highly recommend them (will provide their name if anyone would like it).
In conclusion I would NOT recommend having CROWN HEATING and COOLING do any service work unless you enjoy being PRICE GOUGED. Get quotes from other dealers an see how bad CROWN HEATING and COOLING really is.

This is a partial response on Better Business Bureau website that I received from Crown Heating and Cooling:
Every service provider, regardless of the industry provides a certain level of quality, and charges for those services accordingly. Mr. Williams chose to select an alternative level of service through a different provider. We are pleased that he found a level of service that met his needs.

Maybe the person who wrote that would like to respond to this.
To become an authorized Lennox Dealer you must meet Lennox standards and Crown Heating and Cooling meets their standards. If you go to the Lennox website they list their PREMIER AUTHORIZED DEALERS which are the best dealers they have. On the Lennox website you will notice Crown Heating and Cooling is not a Premier dealer. After I refused CROWN HEATING and COOLING’s outrageous price, I chose a PREMIER AUTHORIZED DEALER to do the repair. The Premier dealer did an excellent repair at a reasonable price and I would highly recommend them. Since a superior dealer did the repair how can Crown Heating and Cooling justify their Price Gouging based on a higher level of service provider doing the repair at a much lower price.
