CVS Pharmacy reviews
5I have to say I’ve shopped at CVS for many years. However I haven’t had the need to use their pharmacy as much as the retail part of the store. Relocating from out of state we found ourselves in need of their pharmacy today. I had to visit the pharmacy counter twice in one day and both times seemed to lack professionalism. I realize cultures are different in various parts of the US however common courtesy should be prevalent anywhere. I won’t say that I’ll stop shopping altogether just…. Do better. The attitude is really just not necessary. People are there out of necessity that’s all I’m saying. We all have lives to live let’s just try to make eachother wa lives better not worse. I will say my experience at the outside pharmacy window was much better. Thankyou
If you need a prescription right away, go somewhere else. They are backed up 3 days they told us!
After having to switch pharmacies due to a change in insurance, CVS has been extremely helpful in getting my life-saving prescriptions in an expedited time frame. The people that I spoke with in today’s experience were extremely helpful, personable, and nice.
I had to make three trips to the store to get my medicare covid test kits: first time, pharmacy not open until 10 a.m. ; second pharmacist said I had to wait 45 minutes while they put the stickers on the tests and charged medicare; third time finally got the tests but had to wait in line again-all this while feeling ill and trying not to expose others. Different family member had hours long go round with CVS pharmacist who refused to transfer an amoxicillin Rx to a different pharmacy that had the drug-had to have the Dr.call in a second Rx which delayed getting the drug nearly an entire day. Unacceptable!
Avoid this store. They overbook appointments so there is no way you'll actually be seen on time. Despite the fact they know how many appointments they have, they only have one overworked contract employee doing shots. The rest of the store isn't any better: there are unpacked boxes of merchandise everywhere, the shelves are a mess and the pharmacy is so slow that there always at least 5 people waiting for prescriptions and no one has answered a single call in the 40 minutes I've been here waiting. It announces how many calls are holding every 20 seconds or so and they just ignore it.
