D-BAT Middleburg reviews
8Nice facilities, just a lil expensive.they got nice curveball and fast all settings just cost $
A nice place for kids of all ages to get in some batting time. The only thing I would recommend changing is to have more of the cages open up for public rather than private lessons.
The facility is nice and clean. There are three 1 token cages and one two token cage that has digital tracking. There are also nice practice cages you can rent out.
The few times I've gone have been mixed. It is $25 for 15 tokens and 1 token is supposed to equate to 15 pitches. One time the machine I was using kept dumping pitches ten feet infront of the machine and the guy was nice enough to credit me a few tokens. This last time I went, the machine kept flashing like it was going to pitch but would beep three times and not pitch a ball but still use one of the pitches. Once it did it four times in one round.
The worker told me you might only get 12-15 pitches each round and brushed it off. I understand if the machine doesn't pitch every pitch spot on but to pretend that the machine beeping and not throwing a ball doesn't seem right. Not sure I'll keep putting tokens on file if I'm not guaranteed functioning machines or making it right if the machines throw errors.
Very nice facility. Can practice hitting and pitching here. Equipment is like new and complete. Plans are a little pricey but this is a good place to get live and machine batting practice.
Staff is friendly came close to closing still let us in for the last half hour so my son can get a few swings in very happy with it get your own separate cage with a t or a pitching wall whichever you prefer the great place to practice
I took my 9 and 7 year old there for the first time yesterday. Upon entering, we were impressed with how clean and well laid out the facility is. Even more impressive, however, was how welcoming the staff was.
Steven and Anthony greeted us, explained how everything worked incredibly well, then took the time to lay out our options and to give us first-timers a look around the facility. They didn’t stop there…. They also helped my children find the right-sized bats and made them feel right at home.
As for the facility itself, it was easy to use, clean, modern and enjoyable.
We will without question be returning to D-Bat, likely often, and it is in big part because of the way we were welcomed by the staff. Big thumbs up….
My son loves the hitting clinic held by instructor AJ. AJ made the clinic so welcoming and took time out to explain to the parents what he was teaching and the what to work on at home. The instructors make the players feel comfortable and it allows for them to digest what they are being taught for future success on the diamond, highly recommend!
