Danny Boy's, Rocky River OH

Was not impressed with the pizza, soggy average flavor, perhaps it's new ownership? We had a better experience at the NO location. Oh and we got charged a delivery fee for dine in. Isn't that swell

As former residents of Rocky River, Danny Boys was one of our favorite places to eat and enjoy a night with the family. We visited a few nights ago to learn that along with new management, most of our favorites had been removed from what is now essentially a chain style menu. The waitress was unable to make a child serving of pasta as they didn’t have the measuring cup required by new management. At the end of dinner, we were told if we elected to pay by credit card, we would be charged a transaction fee. So disappointed that one of our favorite family owned restaurants is being converted into a bland chain restaurant with menu and other decisions driven by profitability at the expense of tradition and quality.

I loved this place for pizza until last night We have eaten there about 10 times a year for 6 years but last night we were not greeted in a welcoming manner.it was a Friday and Veteran's Day and I was with a Veteran! I waited for 5 minutes to even be acknowledged at the window for seating and then was told they closed in 15 minutes. It was filled with about 30 people still dining! Checked the clock after returning to the car and it was 8: 40 pm. I'll take my patronage elsewhere

Great spot. If you've not been there you are missing out on excellent pizza and pasta. Clean facility.

Today is the first time ever that I had anything from Danny Boy's. I ordered and had my dinners delivered The delivery service turned out to be a nightmare, and nearly had me lost forever as a customer.

I paid over the phone for my meal. 1.5 hours later I called back to check the status of my order. They said it was out being delivered. After we disconnected, me happy my food was soon to arrive. I got a call back immediately and was told it was a no contact delivery and had been dropped off at my front door. I was livid.
Ihave no porch. The delivery boy took my paying over the phone as if my paying for it was no contact delivery and he left my pizza box on the ground. He did not call and notify me, nor knock.and my 2nd dinner was tossed and tipped off of the pizza box. I called back and asked them to come pick the cold pizza and and give me my money back. The manager was nice enough to try and appease me. He remade my order and had it delivered. This time I stood at the door waiting for the delivery guy. A kid looked to be about 12 years old but I imagine he's 16 because he drove here, arrived. He had a charming little smile. In any event I got my food warm this time, as it should have been the 1st time.

I'm very very happy that I acquiesced to the managers attempt to make things right for me. The food was delicious. Yes, my perrogi dinner was not just amazing and the pizza, but they was tasted like "more".

Horrible this was the worst. I call in for a meatball pizza but instead they gave me double pepperoni. Lousy and by the time I could call they were already closed. I don’t think I’ll ever order from here again and it was cold.

Came here with my father for lunch and had a terrible experience. I ordered a chicken alfredo and my father ordered a spaghetti and meatballs. My dish arrived with no chicken, and I had to flag down a waitress to ask for the chicken. She astonishingly claimed there actually was chicken in it. I had to move pasta around with my fork to prove it, then I heard the cook say its coming out and he forgot. They brought the chicken out and it was okay at best. 68 dollar check for two, and some of the poorest quality food I have encountered yet.

My father also ordered a coffee and it was filled with coffee grounds.

Look elsewhere if you're considering coming here.

I ordered chicken pineapple nachos. WOW. So so good.

Was recommended this place by my aunt I’ve only gotten take out a few times. Prices are reasonable for the quality of food and I’ve always been satisfied. I’ve gotten the Calzone most times, can’t go wrong with it. I’ve only tried the pizza once, think I’ll go with the Chicago next time as I’ve heard good things. Would recommend if you haven’t given it a go yet.

We ordered a medium pizza and a glass of wine. They were short staffed. They did a great job checking with us and getting our food.

The restaurant is smaller than I expected. The food and service were great and we really enjoyed our time there. The restaurant shares a parking lot with the food market next door. There are only a handful of parking spaces on Lake Rd right in front of the place. Overall we liked it.

Sorry not too savy with this review stuff therefore, I didn't know how to reply to your question of whom our server was and sadly, I can't remember her name, she definitely told us but, my 7 year old was in my ear lol she was blonde and it was at about 7-7: 30pm or so that we dined in yesterday (Saturday).

Everything was wonderful. We'd been there once before years ago. We went back today and it was better then i Remember. We've been trying to go for a few weeks.they are closed on tuesdays and Wednesdays. Cant wait to heat up the leftovers. We got the honey bee pizza medium size traditional crust. Amazing. We also got the spinach artichoke dip and wings. We were stuffed! I look forward to going back theres so much to chose from on the menu, but not in a too much to choose from kinda way. We for sure spent a bit more $$$ here then we normaly do for 2 people so its going to be a real treat when we go back. Danny boy's blow the others away.

Great pizza and wings. Location has parking and friendly staffing. Will return! Enjoyed every bite. Quick service.

I had the Buffalo Mac and cheese and it was absolutely amazing. I wish I took a photo as it wasn’t as I had expected. It was a penne pasta with a spicy sauce with shredded cheese mixed in and grilled chicken. Sooooo good!

Artichoke dip and chili far exceeded our expectations at what we assumed was a straight forward pizza place. Service was nice, food very hot and atmosphere in dining room was fitting. There is deceivingly enough parking considering God lot next door is shared with the grocery store.

Customer service was great. The Deep Dish pizza was good, but they did leave it in the oven a bit longer than I would have liked it.
