Dano's Taxi, Amelia OH

I don't usually like to write negative reviews, but I've had several less-than-decent experiences with Dano's! My parents have too. This morning they requested a ride and were told the waiting time would be 20-25 minutes. They waited one hour and called the business back to ask if a driver was still on the way. The woman who answered said it would be a few more minutes. My parents waited 20 more. My mom tried calling again to cancel, but no one answered. They eventually got another ride. I stayed at home and saw a Dano's taxi pull up a while after that. I didn't bother to go outside and explain that my parents had gotten a different ride. Sorry - not sorry. Note to Dano's: Be more courteous to your customers. Don't say you'll be around in 20 minutes when you really mean 2 hours! Be honest about your timing.

Called Dano’s and they came out to get me on a long ride from a place in the middle of nowhere. Really helped me out and it was a good ride with good conversation. Thanks!

Had problems for 2 years of using this service, inconsistent pick up times even when I scheduled hours in advance sometimes they were late 1 hour + in 30 degree weather. The last straw was when after work the cab went to the wrong place so they called my mother who scheduled for me and cussed her out. Not kidding. They called her all the names in the book, it was one of the 2 people in charge at night. Switched to Uber and have had the best time with good pickups never late and cheaper. If you're considering using them just don't. I also had a driver literally tell me they were illegal, normally wouldn't care about this but I didn't even ask and they just blurt our they're an illegal immigrant, was it a joke I don't know but they said it pretty normal, no idea who it was though.

Do not use this cab service EVER! You will have to wait an eternity for your cab to get to your location despite them saying they will be there in 30 to 40 minutes I called them 5 times only to no response about where's my ride. Thanks for making me late to work, worst taxi ever!

I called to explain to dispatch that they had a driver swerving all over the road and that he was staying 10 miles under the speed limit or 20 miles under depending on where we where. I was pretty much talked to like I was a child who was upset about something small. Driving under the speed ok but completely ignore everything else? Don't waist your time or money with this unprofessional company that thinks talking to potential customers like there 5 is a respectable business. Drivers obviously not safe and the lady on the phone should find a new job in a jail so she can talk to people like that. I wouldn't even give it one star but I can't give 0s.

The people that you call to get a cab are so rude.i called to talk to them about having there services and the guy cussed me out.

Quoted 30 mins for a preordered ride still here waiting an hour later! Dont waste your time or money.call yellow or towne! Its not the first time I've had this problem with them either! 150 dollars worth of groceries on a Sunday.
Spoiled from the 90+ degree heat I was quoted 30 mins that day and had to come home and throw away almost everything! I would NOT recommend to anyone unless you have a lot of time to wait and it doesnt include food! Please go elsewhere

Told one of his drivers "it's ok you're a little drunk, shes walking down the street she needs someone to get her now". Had 2 phones. Made and received over 18 calls in my 45 min drive. Ran a red light. Texted as well. Asked where we were headed 20 mins into the drive. Smelled like smoke and had ear buds in one ear. I cannot make this stuff up. Oh and took 45 mins to pick me up when they quoted 25 to 30 mins.

Called over a hour and a half ago for a cab i was told 1 hour now no one is answering the phone the dispatcher is beyond rude and seems annoyed that your calling and barely answers the phone been calling over 30 minutes to see if they are coming and no one will answer the phone dont waste your time or money your better off using uber
