Dan's Drive In reviews
16Nice little place, food was good and waiters were friendly, prices were pretty decent as well
This place smell like mold and mildew. I had a cup of coffee and couldn't take it. And she charged me 2.80 for one cup of lousy coffee. I don't know how this place is even open let alone selling food
Man this place is like going back into time when the food was delicious, great priced and amazing customer service! I wish I could remember the name of the waitress but I’ll never forget her beautiful smile! Highly recommended if you like good ol’ fashioned cheese burgers and brunch the way grandma used to make it!
We love diners. We have eaten at quite a few recently and everythi g has disappointed.not Dan's this place was delicious. Fast service, sweet waitress, and yummy food!
Dan’s is a classic old school diner with great prices and friendly staff. One of the last few authentic diners in Columbus. My hash browns were great. Not so grood were the grits. They were out and out terrible. Think hard grains of hominy swimming in a glue-like gravy, topped with cheese so stringy i could have flossed my teeth with it. Hard to mess up grits but they managed to do it. On the positive, they will happily give you an alternative if you call their attention to food quality.
Dan's Drive In has been great, for years. We stopped in today, and were pleasantly surprised. The place was extra clean! Not that it hasn't been, in the past. But today, it seemed like everything was extra shiney. And. They now serve beer!
Last, but certainly not the least. The service and prices are perfect.
Friendly & quick service. We were seated immediately and happy to see the numerous options available to pick from. We visited on a Sunday a little before noon and were pleasantly surprised how there was no waiting for a table and no wait with the food to our table. The food was decent. I was a little disappointed with what I ordered (sausage, biscuits, & gravy) but it was still a great meal all-in-all.
Super cute classic diner. We stopped on our way to Cosi. Fast friendly service. I had a chicken salad sandwich on sourdough and onion rings and my husband has a breakfast sandwich. Everything was perfect. The place is clean and it has lots of menu options, burgers, chicken tenders, waffles, classic breakfast, almost anything you want. The food was fresh, portions were generous. We will definitely stop again when we are in town.
Satisfying diner breakfast! Vegetarian skillet is my go-to and traditional eggs, bacon and home fries always done right. Servers are friendly and prompt.
When everywhere else was super busy I found this place to bring the ball team to. Great choice.
Food, service was usual good, but this time I don't know who cooked the food but my food was cold, but they did redo my order
Dan's Drive In was a very pleasant surprise. We were visiting a friend in the hospital and needed a close by place for a bite. The food was great and the place has a '50's vibe to it. It was spotlessly clean, even though the building has some years on it. They were very busy (lunch time) and maybe short handed, but who isn't these days. I'll definitely be back!
My food was cold 5 on atmosphere 5 on service cheeseburger was 9.00 and wasn't real hamburger I think it was cooked in a microwave can't get real hamburger anywhere anymore it seems I'm sure back in the day they served really good hamburger back then but now no
Quiet little Diner on S. High St. The Food is always good and the service is prompt. Great place to come eat for breakfast and lunch
Food is good. Kind of an odor to the establishment which takes away from the enjoyment of the food. Waitress was very professional and helpful.
I ordered eggs over medium and they brought some very odd plastic looking over cooked eggs. The biscuits and gravy were okay, pancakes a 2.5 at best, very mediocre. The meat lovers skillet looked the best and was fairly well liked. I did like the 50's look of the place.
