Dante's Pizza, Columbus OH

Dante's makes the best pizza. Fresh ingredients. Sauce is wonderful and spices are phenomenal. Whenever I'm in Columbus, I always enjoy Dante's pizza. Christine is wonderful. I hadn't traveled in a while and Christine's smiling face was a joy to see. Thank you for your great service.

Dining room is OPEN. We missed our friends and the best server around. Thank for for a great Friday night/10th anniversary pizza pie.

Stopped in for a late pie with a friend, they still have their dining room closed, which kinda stinks: . / I will say the staff were tremendously friendly and the pie turned out good. Pepperoni Mushroom, crisp crust, tasty sauce plenty of cheese. Would be killer if they opened their dining area, and like someone else mentioned, cash or check only.which is another downer. On the pie alone I'd give it a solid four, only the dining room isn't open, and cash or check is inconvenient.

Dante's has been a true family owned business, the staff make you feel like you're family We've been going there for many, many years. I've always made a point to have them at least once a month for pizza night! Honestly you can't go wrong with this local, family owned business. This is truly a family operation. I’m so glad they survived the pandemic. Yes, they only take checks or cash but the pizza is delicious! You can get pizza without sauce (white pizza) and even get 1/2 white and the other half with sauce with NO BIG DEAL made like at the big name pizza places! Delicious every time!

This is some of the best pizza I have ever had and it is paired with amazing service from the workers who make it. They treat their customers like family and always have a really positive attitude. My husband and I do Pizza Friday’s every week and we both always look forward to it because we know we are getting our pizza from here. It is a local gem:).

This is the most consistently delicious pizza we have ever had. Still make the drive there even though we've moved out of the neighborhood. A bit crowded for dining in but best choice for carryout. Bring cash, they do not take credit cards.

Skip the franchise stuff. This is an old school pizza place with a history and heart. No credit cards, uneven pieces cut, nothing fancy but just a great pizza with great ingredients. Try it and see pic.

Loved this place since I was young. Pizza Mart was another local joint as well! Very beautiful Italian woman always rings me out and always embraces conversation. Will always hold Dantes near and dear to my heart, highly suggest to anyone looking for a new pizza joint!

Dante's is a small, cozy neighborhood pizza place in Clintonville. It's one of few local restaurants not on High. The dining area is small but not cramped. You can also get take out.
The pizza was pretty good, though I generally like a doughier crust. They put lots of toppings on their pizzas, and it was quality. All of our veggies were fresh. Our companions' pizza had a ton of meat toppings as well but didn't look greasy. Prices were fair and comparable to other quality pizza places around town.
The waitress was attentive but not intrusive. Other patrons were very respectful and not too rowdy.
Overall, we had a good dining experience. I don't know that Dante's would be in my Top 5 Cbus eats, but it's awesome to be able to support a small, local business and to not have to travel far to do so. There are also a few bike lock ups outside so you can ride their and work off some dinner calories.
Of note, they only take cash. Hit the ATM first. They are family friendly and have high chairs.

Great neighborhood pizza place. I'm a thick crust guy, but I still love their thin crunchy crust.

The cheese and sausage is actually delicious. I do wish there that just a little more sausage so there's actually sausage and each bite. Overall a decent cannot fail Pizza.

Great pizza-I try to get it every time I'm in Columbus. The homemade sausage is outstanding. Only one complaint: they should use fresh mushrooms instead of canned.

Great sauce. Very good pizza. The gnocchi is like delicious dough pillows in your mouth and lasagna is very cheesy. Great staff! The house made sausage is to die for!
