I would definitely recommend this company for appliance repair. They don't find things to fix, but rather troubleshoot with you to find an answer. Derek was pleasant and professional. He answered all my questions, and was willing to give me Information on my dishwasher to help me understand the settings better. Feel confident in reaching out to them for any appliance repairs.

Dylan was professional, helpful and very pleasant. He worked quickly and efficiently. He answered other appliance questions while here; unfortunately replacement parts on that unit are n/a. Dylan is an excellent tech!

I would not hesitate to use Dave Smith services again. They came out for a warranty repair and were precisely on time and quick. They communicate effectively with text info. I’m really impressed.

Alex K and Derek P. Were very professional, considerate, and polite as they worked on my wall oven. Alex went above and beyond to make sure I was safe and offered to put on a face mask for my protection. Derek came in with his shoes covered to protect my carpet from dirt and added stains. This was a two person job to lift and work on my oven. This cut down on the service time and gave me quality workmanship. They worked as a team with respect for each other! Alex is very polite and a joy to have as a repair person. He listens to my questions and gives a straight answer. They both were very personal and gave me advice about why my oven ignitor has continued to go out. This repair should fix the issue. Thanks guys. I know who to call next time for all appliance repairs. ATJanke

This review is about Mike, older technician who came out to try to fix our dryer a younger technician failed to fix on 2 previous visits. Mike was rude unprofessional lazy disrespectful and unskilled. The original younger technician joined Mike during this visit and he was polite, respectful and courteous. Not only does Mike have a horrible customer service attitude but he also wasted our time and money. The dryer still didn't work after Mike's diagnosis and supposed repair. Mike should find a different line of work. He needs a job which doesn't require skill or working with the public. The office staff was also extremely rude and unprofessional. Derek P came out today to get my 2022 Whirlpool dishwasher heating again after I replaced the broken heating element. Derek was knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. After a few tests (and *not* having to uninstall the dishwasher from the cabinet), he was able to run the diagnostics which showed "no heat" (yep!) but also it reset the controller board so that it would start heating again. Final charge $119 (minimum service call charge). Thanks, Derek!

Service tech came out a couple days ago. He was lazy and expected my elderly mom to help him move the washer. He refused to pull the washer out to fix it and left without doing anything. What a joke!

Repairmen came out and carefully unmounted an above the stove microwave. They went through and diagnosed all the issues with the unit and gave us repair estimates, on the spot. Very friendly and courteous.

Came for a warranty repair. Didn't even bother to look at the stove. Told me I had an electrical issue and needed an electrician. The electrician said I had no issue with the breaker, it was tripping because there was a problem with the stove top.

Answer to below response.
I do understand leaving a bad review can hurt your business but this service is here to let consumers know about the shop and service. I was very impressed by your rating when GE scheduled you for a visit but not so much for discrediting my review. I bumped the review from 1 to 2 stars because you did contact me and tried to correct the problem and make things right. However, as told on the phone, GE had already sent another tech (who looked at the cooktop and found a burnt switch).
Yes your tech checked the voltage since i had told him the breaker was on but he never checked the breaker himself nor did he ask me to do so or even suggested it, so if the breaker had tripped, we wouldn't have known. I know nothing about electricity or electrical issues, he is the expert.
At last, the reason we replaced the previous cooktop was because the glass cracked, not because we had an electrical issue.
I thank you for trying to make things right by offering to reimburse the cost of the electrician and replacement, but I will pass.
Just make sure your tech does check/reset the breaker for future customers.

I had a great experience with this company. I was having trouble with my new washer and Alex the tech figured it out pretty quickly, corrected the problem, tested the washer, and helped me to understand the workings of my new washer. From Julie who took my call to Alex the wonderful tech it was a flawless experience. Would highly recommend.
