Dave's Supermarket, Cleveland OH

Out of the other locations I’ve been to this one has better tasting hot food and never had a bad experience far as service goes.

This is the worse, Dave’s in Cleveland and there Store Manager Dwayne Johnson is the worse representation of Management ever. I pray this store goes bankrupt. I literally spent over $200 in cash on meat and needed to return $40 of the meat because I did not need it and this manager refused to give me a refund and gave me the wrong number to complain. I wish all the bad for this man! I will never spend a dime in this store

Fairly incompetent staff. Not particularly interested in working. Nobody knows where anything is, then they can’t run my debit card correctly so I just ended up using cash and the cashiers are chatting with each other the whole time while they failed at everything. Miserable place.

Fares poorly against Heinens, but it's an OK choice. Staff isn't particularly nice, food quality isn't great, and neither is the variety.

Every item in this store is over-priced compared to other stores. Unless you like being robbed out of money, do not go there!

I am a fan of Dave's since the 90's. Don't agree with the new prices but the y always have what I am looking for and more

I really wish that this location was more professional and handle customers with care. Every time I visit this store I tend to get employees who are just upset at the world or don’t want to WORK. I mean I’m very kind and approach with politeness and respect. I NEVER receive the same. I needed help at self check out and my check out stand was dinging because it said wait for assistance. So I’m waiting but looking around for someone as well. I see three young ladies (employees) laughing and talking off to the side and not paying attention to customers. Mind you this virus is becoming very dangerous so people really need fast friendly service to get in and out. I waved in their direction to receive help, they all made eye contact but didn’t step over to help. That’s when I said, “Excuse me ladies! Can I get some help over here? ” And they all got attitudes and pushed each other to get one of them to come over. At that point I’m just like that’s my last straw. Never again will I spend a dime in there. Also, their wall hand sanitizers are always empty and there’s not enough in the right area. The workers also aren’t staying 6ft apart or reminding customers to do the same. Pitiful.

Only thing good about this Dave’s is its location. Very convenient for me since I live in shaker sqr. Staff is rude and slow, overall just unprofessional. Fellow customers are annoying and ignorant. Not to mention you won’t feel safe once you leave the store. I shop here for emergencies only.

Absolutely the worse hot food section. Never opens on time or have fresh available food. Service is bad, slow and customer is horrible. They take their time putting out hot foods and have an attitude when serving.

Average place with a police officer at the door. If it needs an officer I don't need to be there.

I just want to hear the store hours the phone just rings and rings when they're closed like a regular residential not at home and no answer machine.
The customer service window closesmu h earlier. I will have to figure something out.

Dave's seafood counter closes before the store close, however I was able to purchase a bag of shrimp the clerk gives you a paper to give to the cashier once you pay for the item the cashier has to go back to the seafood dept.to pick it up.everybody not STEALING.this was a challenging process, I will shop at other grocery stores where the seafood is NOT BEING HELD HOSTAGE.

I stopped at the wrong Dave’s today. I purchased a pack of smoked turkey wings and when I opened it there was mold. I’m not even hungry anymore. About to go vegan.smh

This is the best grocery store I've ever been in. They have everything and then some. The bakery has strawberry layer cakes that are delicious and at a great low price. Keep up the good work.

I bought banana bread and tasted at least one week old. If you buy baked goods taste it when you get to the car so it's worth returning. This has happened too many times.

I was highly disappointed with the customer service manager. She would not take my personal check. Stating that they don't honor the bank. But they accepted payment with the bank card associated with the same bank. WTF

Ugh! Filthy, overpriced, rude staff and management. This is what happens when you don't care about what your store is like and are just gouging the neighborhood. I'll never stop here again. After all, Heinen's is only four stops down the Rapid.
