David Marsh, MD reviews
5My boyfriend and I prayed to God for a very good doctor to help me with my very bad knees and our prayers were answered with doctor Marsh he gave me so much hope when I had none. I will keep going back to him for my treatments.
Told me all that needs to be done did great job on surgery. I would refer him to everyone.
Where to start.it took overs minute of awkwardly standing in front of the front desk to be assisted while 3.3 staff were there and could have made me feel welcome there. The X-ray tech was great and made me feel at ease.
Finally, I see Dr. Marsh. I probably got out maybe 15 words this during the visit. He was very distant, cold, and seemingly uncaring. His assistant was standing in the room with her arms crossed with a look like a prison guard, and he never made any eye contact with me except for stabbing my hand.
I didn't feel like a person. I didn't feel like my concerns or previous medical experiences with the same issue was cared about. I didn't get to make my own medical decisions. I felt locked into a plan that I could mor voice my concerns on or discuss. I felt like a dollar sign.
Experience is great, but that does make the doctor great.
Doctor Marsh (Dave) has been my ortho for almost 4 years, and I can't be happier. He has repaired my knees twice now (separate injuries), and has been awesome. Excellent level of care compared to all of my previous ortho docs, excellent communication and skill. His surgical and office team are a pleasure to deal with as well.
He also attended to my then 7yo son who broke his leg several years ago, and he was perfect. He worked with my terrified boy, who was in pain, and made him feel at ease and treated a very difficult fracture without surgery. Plus, he put up with two worried scientist parents that asked endless questions and put us at ease too.
Dave's a skillful doc, and he listens. Honestly, those are the ingredients that make up a good doc. Also, I'm thankful that he's a couple years younger than me, so hopefully I can utilize his services for many years to come.
