Days Inn by Wyndham Grove City Columbus South

We stayed in a smoking room on the second floor and had a dog with us. The room is spacious and fairly clean. No bugs, which is super important. They look like they've made some updates but have some to finish. The staff is nice but they need a better procedure for checkout, or it's possible someone may have called off, but we had to wait a long time as the staff member working the front desk had to run to each room to check it before releasing the deposit, which is understandable, but it holds everyone up. I'd suggest a system where housekeeping is called to verify rooms to release deposits, or give the front desk a runner who goes and checks for the other person. The covers in smoking rooms need replaced from burn holes from previous guests. Also, our coffee pot wasn't usable because it was missing the tray but there are lots of local places to grab a coffee or you can go to the lobby so no big deal.

However, with that being said, the bed was comfortable, the staff is really nice, and the hotel is in a great location. It's worth the price and I'd stay here again. Not a luxury hotel so don't have high expectations, but honestly it's a Days Inn, it's meant to be cost efficient without a bunch of frills. It's a safe, clean place to lay your head.

Infested with bed bugs I will never stay there again. I reported it and the manager said he would give me a full refund and didn't. Don't ever ever ever go there

I gave this establishment a 5 because I want to bring their score up. I spend at least 250 nights a year in hotels and my accomodations here score high in the things that matter to me, i.e. Cleanliness, quiet, WAY above average in tv channels, good water pressure, and excellent customer service. Keep up the good work!

First, they would not allow my mother to check in until either I showed up with the card that was already on file or if she paid in cash. She paid in cash which was not what I wanted and I’ve never heard of a hotel making you do this. Also, when I booked the room it said you did not have to pay until you stayed. Secondly, the room was gross! Pictures attached of the moldy shower and terrible shower ceiling. The shower head was gross, dark brown mold. Thirdly, she couldn’t check out until they checked the room! Checked it for what? ! And what hotel has ever done this before you’re allowed to leave? ! Never again.

AVOID! It smelled really bad! TV was broken and I reported it around 8 pm. The staff could not fix it so they called the owner. The OWNER came around 10pm and was very rude. He not only told me he couldnt fix the tv but he told me I had to stay in the room. After repeatedly telling him how this is poor customer service. He asked what would I like him to do. I said fix the tv or accommodate me. He said seems to me you just want another room. After going off, he reluctantly gave me another room as he scolded me while doing it.

Do not go.

Oh boy. After a long road trip, to get checked into a room, get an hour long nap with non-working door locks. AND it seemed that no one was surprised that the locks weren't working (I understand the locksmith was "not available" that day). Guest security is obviously not a priority here. On the final morning, we had critters running around in the bathroom. Since there was an obvious need for exterminators, we opted out of showers and just hit the road with rapidity. A bit shocked it was this bad.

Worst hotel ever! Out dated, old rooms, only one pillow each. SAD breakfast room, no coffee, had some Costco Danish (not sure about the age) I wish I had drove to the next town, but was late at night and we were tired (my bad) WILL NEVER stay at such a SAD place. And yes there were roaches. Even though we were tired we could not sleep

Although it's a non-smoking motel, you can still smell smoke everywhere. Room service emptied my trash, but that was about it. A bit overpriced for such an old motel, but I guess it is what it is.

Good price for a room for the night. If you have any pets with you they do add more to the room charge for it.

The staff is awesome I stayed thier threw my house being repaired. Class A establishment. I'd highly recommend. Thank you all at days inn grovecity

They had ants. Bed was hard. But I didn't hate the stay. I didn't expect much and I didn't get much either lol

Comfortable clean beds. Updated room. Breakfast is available in the morning. Very pleased we stayed here.

Was a nigth mare they have to change us twice, the first room the heat don't work and the other room the toilet was broke

I stayed at at the Comfort Inn in Grove City, Ohio way back in 2019. Day after I checked in I noticed what I thought was a rash on my arm and torso. The following day, I was covered in bed bug bites. I talked to Patience at the front desk on Sunday who only said 'sorry about that'. I was forced to toss out most if the belongings I had at the hotel in fear of transporting any bed bugs to my home. I am out hundreds of dollars not to mention money spent on spraying and steaming the belongings I could not afford to part with. I requested a refund in March 11 2019 and have been doing very month since. At first, I was offered bonus points for what amounted to a half-a-night stay. Their final offer as of last month was $100. I only requested the money I sepnt on the my stay which was $340.11. I lost over $200 dollars worth of property, spent $175 on a steroid shot, another $20 on spray and $85 to have the trunk and upholstery of my car steamed. Not to mention the incessant itching I endured. A full refund of $340.11 is all that I am requesting. I don't want bonus points. I want a refund of my stay, nothing more and nothing less.

Hard to beat for the price. Check -in and out were easy. The room had a nice modern style. The bathroom could have been cleaner and the bathroom door didn't close correctly but no issues otherwise.

Booked a room here but didn't didn't stay if you pay cash you have to leave a $50 cash deposit

I will never go back here I got a room Friday night I got there at 11pm well by 3am it was bugs crawling around my room I called the front desk they told me they will tell management in the morning didn’t move my room so I left that hotel just to go to another hotel paid another fee and when I went to talk to management that morning he only refunded 40 dollars of my money back when I never stayed til check out cause I took pictures of the bugs and the night staff said them not are tables don’t go here service sucks and they unprofessional

Way to over priced! They do leave you alone which can be nice but they do it to the point of you having to ask for clean towels everyday. I did like the lighting in the room tho.
