Absolute trash, the guy at the counter was extremely unprofessional he even came up at 7 am to knock on our door bc he forgot to take a copy of my cards, the manager unprofessional. The entire time I felt like I was in a motel and the breakfast they gave of bagels and cereal was taken at 8: 30 instead of 9 watched a mom come in and looked heart broken to see the food was gone. Worst experience while traveling ever, if your staying out this way go to the south location way better in every way.

Throughout my stay I dealt with Matt at the front desk and he made our stay a wonderful experience. Five stars for Matt.

2023 stay - 3 stars FOR WHAT IT IS - the good - its cheap - and for those expecting the service of the ritz - keep on keeping on. Room was decent enough - fairly clean - had fridge and micro - the BIG DOWNSIDE - the desk is cluttered with their stuff (light, coffee maker, ice / plastics) and VERY small. Bed - well for a sub 75/night hotel it was good enough. If this is in your price point range - then give it a try. Do not be discouraged by the appearance of the lobby - its probably an after-though and you need it only to check in and check out.

The star was decreased because of the morning desk attendant. I needed a paper invoice to take with me and he said he couldn't provide that for me. That's a simple request from me. He explained to me that his manager had to provide that paperwork to me! That seemed like an excuse not to do a simple job.

If you want an elevator or dresser, don't come here. People are great, facilities are not. They couldn't find our reservation, double charged us (was reversed). We booked for 5 people, (Over the phone) and ended up with 2 queen beds. No towels left for us all to have our own. The bathroom was disgusting. Kleenex box stuck to the sink and hair everywhere. 10 minutes on the carpet turned the socks black. Pool was decent for outdoor. Breakfast was bagels, cereal, yogurt, Jimmy Dean sandwich, and waffles. Can't stress the front desk was great, hotel is not. Cable service blurs like bad reception every 5 minutes.

Bed felt like sleeping on Rock. Pillows were sh*t too. Can hear full conversations happening in hallway.

The shower has no place to hold on put your soap on or have a anti slip mat
A much cheaper motel 6 had a more luxurious shower with 2 soap dishes and a heavy duty grab bar

I take my life in my hands when I show I’m 66 and need an anti slip mat and a grab bar and a soap dish

My cousin and I got rooms across from each other. Her bathroom was completely redone and had beautiful teal tiles. I on the other hand had white tiles with mildew in-between all the grout, shower head was wonky, my microwave was unplugged and super hard to get to, didn't have an iron or ironing board and my fridge wasn't working. I was in room 202. For the price of almost $350 for 2 nights, I was expecting better

Very friendly staff. Everything about this hotel was 1000 times better than the Holiday Inn we stayed in a week before. Great location, easy to get to, and lots to do in the area. Best part about it was that the staff was very friendly and could speak english.

Hard to find a 4 star in Sandusky where you don't here coughing from the room next door, hallway noises at all hours and drywall repair throughout the room.

The stay was excellent these people saved me in the time of need, because I went through Priceline to get a room at a different location two weeks before and when I got there they had no place because Priceline overbooked the hotel I was supposed to stay at so after driving 8 hours to the place I had nowhere to go with my child and luckily somebody told me about this place and I went there and they gave me a room it was a little bit more because I had to do it on my own without a booking company and they got me right in so we could get some sleep at 2: 00 in the morning and I finished my stay there and it was a great experience.
