Deer Creek Reservoir reviews
15Have taken my son's here and now my grandson. Relaxed atmosphere. Peaceful even tranquil. Nice big lake. We just sit on the shoreline and enjoy.
Good luck fishing. Unless your catfishing.
I literally watched a guy n his son cheaply fish out the spawning bass.
No wonder there isnt any left dumb@$$3$!
The Male protects the eggs from being eaten.
Catch and release.
Take a pic, then catch n release.
Unless it's a Carp.
Nice view. Peaceful and relaxing. Big fish jumping everywhere, but only caught little bluegills. Overall nice place.
ALWAYS went here since I was a young kid.and now it's just a waste of time most of the time.houses being put up all around u.and they have like no parking spots after dark.no parking signs everywhere been ask to move like Everytime time I've parked unless in a parking lot at day time.just overall not a spot to enjoy anymore.to many control ppl
My place of choice when feeling blue. I just go out and sit and relax. Listen to the fish jump, crickets churp and the water
Had a great time as always caugbt a few fish with my grandsons. The up grade on the boat launch looks great will be using it soon.
Very sunny on most of the path. It's a very pretty view and we even seen a Bald Eagle! But, You have to walk along a busy road after the lake. They should put a guardrail or fence along that part of the path for safety. We did not travel farther because of this safety concern.
Unless you have a boat it's a horrible place to fish nice place to go on walk beautiful scenery but without a boat you ain't catching nothing I've been going there for about a year now and never caught anything Worthy Iv bounced around Berlin lake and the reservoir only caught a handful of fish meanwhile people with boats pulling them in left and right
Didn't even get a bite. Everything was pretty soggy. Not any fault of the parks. Just the weather and luck!
Really pretty, the trails are great to ride on and walk on. Beautiful river passing by, love taking pictures there
A very serene place to kayak. There is a dam that was undetectable from water level until you are 20' from it and only 1 warning buoy that can easily be overlooked. Be careful!
Very relaxing and peaceful there. Doesn't get crowded there as much as other lakes and it's a good place to go fishing.
Quiet, peacful. Boat ramp is fairly shallow but nice place for a quiet picnic or to get your paddle wet.
Nice little place ro take the kids and fish, they also have some bbqs there if you choose to picnic. It was quiet when we went.
This is the single worst hiking trail I have ever seen. It may begin in a deceptively nice fashion through some peaceful woods, but after only a mile you're dropped off onto the side of the road where instead of looking at the beautiful scenery (which I firmly believe Stark County has no concept of how to appreciate) you are looking at abandoned furniture and looking out for 18-wheelers barreling down the road.
Stark County already has an inexcusable record for being primarily rural yet being so impossible to find one quiet place where you can walk without hearing traffic, but even by its park district's low standards this place is bad.
