Deer Creek State Park Campground, Mt Sterling OH

Very clean campground with lots of activities for kids and adults. Employees were super friendly and helpful!

This is a really nice campground. All the sites are freshly paved and have new concrete pads for your picnic table. The campsites are big, you don't feel like you are on top of the next campsite.

Nice park. Great staff. My issue was I was on site 223. There is a large garage that is lit up all night. The lights are by every door and are not just focused on the door. Without shades it's like daylight. A simple fix which put blinds over most of it just not the part shinning on the doors would be nice. Otherwise no complaints. Easy online reservations. Nice staff at check-in. Ok price on firewood if you need a pack or two in an pinch. Was one of very few tents.mostly RVs at the time I was there in Sept.

I like camping here because there are plenty of lots that have trees suited for hammock tents.

The full hookup spots are wonderful. We were close to a couple of hiking trails, and we took full advantage of them. We enjoyed the park, and the camping. Thank you

Absolutely loved the campground. They have some great sites for tents and RVs. They have full hookup available, electric and I think primitive as well. Plenty of restrooms and showers. Nice secluded picnic areas for the sites, they also have poles to hang your trash bags up. We did have raccoons two of the three nights. Nothing crazy though. Fellow campers were pretty respectful of the quiet hours. They have the Friends of Deer Creek that have special activities certain weekends throughout the season, they also have food. Very cool. Camping has disc golf access (rent from the store) and putput golf (rent from the store). Overall a fantastic stay and I can't wait to get back

I thought I'd already done this last week, but here we go. Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. From camping, fishing, kayaking, mini golf, mini store to different bikes available to rent (and for real golf, the course is right across the street), you've got most everything covered. We'll be back. Thanks again!

They have a really nice swimming pool. It's $10. They also have free mini golf and a storybook trail you can walk which is really cool for the kids knights are very affordable on the electric side and the non-electric side

This is a great campground plenty of room all around nice shower houses and plenty of activities

Great place to get away to. The sites are large and there is so much room for tents etc. The full hook up sites aren't very level though and the bathhouse aren't always the cleanest. Does seem pricey at $31 for just electricity though. With the Golden Buckeye card there is a discount though.

When we arrived our site had no grass at all. We brought a camper pulled by a truck with a small trailer and a side by side. It has rained everyday we’ve been here. We parked our side by side in the dirt and of course d/t the mud we created some tracks. ODNR threatened to cite us! Stating maintenance would have to cover the area with grass seed and straw. The campsite had NO grass before we ever arrived. AND! None of this was stated on the rules given at check in! The shower rooms are pretty gross as well.

Nice campground. Plenty of campsites. Not all sites have water, but they do have electricity. It would be nice if they would address the water issue. Clean restroom facilities.

We did some winter camping. While they are doing some construction to update some of the sites, there are still plenty of sites available, as well as restroom and shower facilities.

The Halloween Trick or Treat experience was absolutely amazing. I won't miss it again.

Deer Creek has large camping areas everything is convenient the staff is friendly and it's a very enjoyable place to stay. You must realize however that it has water stations but none at each site the only thing they do have is power which is easy to access and sufficient if you have on board water and sewer. We will be going back in the spring.
