Great little hike if you are just going to Deer Lick Cave. This cave is just off the Buckeye Trail. You can also do the entire 4 mile, Deer Lick Cave Loop. Two man-made bridges over the streams. A few creek crossings and some stone stairs, that will get you down to the cave. Gorgeous rock formations and a small little waterfall

Took us total 2 hours which was at relaxed speed. We did the complete 4 mile loop.

Awesome walk! Cave area is great and breezy/cool for those hot days. Kid friendly

The cave is ok, but the hike itself is pretty awesome if you can do a 3 mile hike with a fair amount of hills. A lot of the trail is an equestrian trail, so plan for some dirt/ mud.
